Our family greatly enjoyed our stay at the Gainesville Drury Inn. Hotel is well located close to I-75 and facing Archer Road across from Butler Plaza. Area feels fairly safe but some homeless individuals loitering around the intersections. Rooms are excellent and VERY SPACIOUS. Bed is comfortable and we all slept great. Linens are clean, fresh, and appeared new. No strange odors or smells in our room. We made use of the pull-out bed and we can honestly say it was one of the better/most comfortable pull-outs we've ever had in a hotel. Bathroom was clean and had ample space. TV, microwave, and fridge in the room. Rooms were extremely clean. Zero complaints! Excellent evening kick-back (5:30-7PM) with delicious and filling options as well as a few alcoholic drink options at the bar (included). Breakfast was excellent with a variety of hot options (we didn't get her name, but the lady cleaning/attending to breakfast was AMAZING and an absolute ROCKSTAR. She was so kind and made us feel so welcome). Lobby area is big, open, and comfortable. Wifi in the hotel was great. Our only complaint was that parking is limited, particularly during busy weekends. There was a softball tournament at UF the weekend we visited and there were ZERO spots open at about 10PM - we had to park in the front unloading area. A major issue were trailers and boats taking up ~8 parking spots each - I think this needs to be addressed by management because it wasn't fair for the rest of us to have to search for parking for 20 minutes only to park in the driveway. Other than the parking situation, we loved our stay. It was tremendous and we will be back!
