Duplex room, bedroom and toilet on the second floor, no kitchen facilities, a view of the sea. Convenient parking, restaurants and shops within walking distance, breakfast is very good. Overall satisfied, recommended booking

This accommodation has a beautiful sea view. There was ample parking space and there was a restaurant directly operated by the hotel, so it was convenient. Of course, the food was good too!!!

Beautiful hotel & restaurant in a perfect location looking out over the bay. The owner and staff were absolutely excellent, very friendly and hospitable to weary travellers.
I had to leave at 5am thanks to the ferry company letting me down and having to re-book a stupidly early ferry on to the Orkney Isles, so I couldn't check out as normal and arranged with the owner to leave the room key at the unmanned reception desk before normal operating hours.

We had the best nights sleep here out of everywhere we stopped. Quiet, comfy beds, peaceful hotel. Food was delicious. The beef and ale pie especially. Staff were all lovely. 10/10! We would definitely return if we were ever back in the area.

The staff were great, very helpful and friendly. The evening meal & breakfast were good Our room could do with some updating & mattress wasn't particularly comfortable. We couldn't get the television to work but a staff member quickly came to the room to get it sorted for us.

Terrible hotel we booked online and when we arrived given a key for room up in the attic 3 flights of stair! We are both pensioners and struggled with our case! The mattress on the bed was awful felt every spring, had a meal which was very basic freezer food ! Breakfast was not good I ordered scotch pancakes they were basic supermarket ones ! Staff were a couple of teenagers with not much idea. Could not wait to leave!!

Stayed here along with US FRIENDS earlier this month. Comfortable rooms, good meals but the standout was the friendly staff who made our stay so enjoyable. They were interested in us and went out their way to be helpful answering our questions and offering good advice.

The room was quite nice, missing a plug in the bathroom and curtains that cover the window! But overall nice room, it’s everything else that’s odd, the staff seem to work hard but all seem in a daze, cold dinner, strange breakfast with randomly arriving toast

Excellent hotel, we stayed the one night, and as we were out of season it was very quiet around, but Colin was such a friendly and helpful host. Lovely rooms, very clean and fresh, and really good food. We were a group of four and none of us could fault a thing.
