Facilities: Not bad Hygiene: clean Environment: very quiet Service: Very attentive. The only bad thing is that they do not have 24-hour front desk service. If you book late at night, it is easy to find someone, and you can’t get through when you call.

Because it was only a small break in Kandy, it was set up a hotel closer to the train station. When I checked in, I was told that I was registered as a person. Two people had to receive another 12 knives. It felt a bit pitted. I was particularly nervous about the hotel after a long time, because only one person's information was filled. Breakfast is not bad, 5 knives and one person, personal feeling is not cheap.

This hotel is on the mountain. There are many hotels on the mountain in Kandy. The road is very narrow. The driver took the wrong turn several times at night and finally arrived. The welcome candy at the door was not very tasty. We arrived too late and the children were exhausted. We didn't pay much attention to the room, but it was quite clean and the price was very affordable. The breakfast the next day was also rich in variety. There were many crows outside. We took breakfast and ate it outside. The crows came and took away a piece of bread. We were shocked.

When I opened the room, there was a musty smell. Since it was a view room with a curtain wall on the exterior, the windows could not be opened. The air conditioner had to be turned on at full power for half an hour before the musty smell gradually dissipated. The location is not far from the top of the mountain, far away from Kandy Lake, and the lake cannot be seen from the rooftop observation deck. The facilities are okay, the service attitude is okay, and the food tastes great. Overall not recommended.

The hotel is actually a family hotel, not far from the city, but on the mountain. The hotel room is large and clean, with a large balcony, the bed is very comfortable, and the bathroom is very good. The only problem is that there is no dry and wet separation. The breakfast at the hotel is quite satisfactory, with fruit, bread, jam and butter. There are many choices for dinner and the taste is also good. The most noteworthy thing is the service. Both the boss and the employees are very enthusiastic and always smile.

We stayed at the hotel for 1 night. I didn't like the dinner. They don't know how to cook here. The fish was dry, the shrimp were burnt, and the shrimp cocktail had tails. There was a sauce on the menu for the fish, which was not brought. We asked for the sauce and it was the best thing we had at dinner. They don’t make alcoholic cocktails here, but they can pour strong alcohol from bottles into a glass. You can also dilute it with juice yourself. Why you can’t learn how to mix cocktails is a mystery. There was wine and beer here too, but the selection was small. The food problems didn't end there. At breakfast, the girl frying an omelet had her head in the clouds. The oil from the small frying pan was a second away from catching fire. She didn't hear my order at all. When she came to her senses, she poured the unbeaten eggs into the frying pan. It immediately became different from the scramble I asked for. I decided that the fried egg would be fine, and then she started piercing the yolk with a fork. I asked not to do this. Then the cook came up. I said it’s enough to mock the eggs, move them. While they were torturing the frying pan, the second yolk also spread. It seemed to me that these people saw the stove for the first time, and cooking was not their strong point. There is a kettle and refrigerator in the room. I liked the bathroom renovation. The air conditioner was not very cold. There was no internet on WiFi. It wasn't fixed until I went to the reception. There are no adapters in the sockets, so we had to charge everything in the morning when an employee came with a screwdriver and plugged our chargers. The main feature of the hotel was a balcony overlooking the river where the elephants bathe. This is the main advantage of the hotel, along with the swimming pool, from which you can watch the elephants and take photos. There is a spa near the hotel. Don't go there for anything. Nobody speaks English, although the price tag is touristy. They don't know how to do massage. I recommend the hotel if you find somewhere else to eat. We spent so long watching the elephants that we didn’t go to the elephant sanctuary itself.

W15 was a fantastic experience that it's even hard to put into words. We came for 2 nights and everything was flawless and outstanding: the views, the room, the music, the food, and most specially, the people and the amazing hospitality. Since we arrived, Sheriff, Tharaka, Hastha and Premod were truly professional, kind and would solve anything we asked for. They never gave us a ”no” as an answer. Even when my husband asked if by any chance there was anyone who could get him a haircut in the hotel, they did everything and managed to find a hairdresser from town to come and cut his hair. Other examples: I asked if they had apples, and instead of giving me a ”no” as an answer, they went to get some. I asked if they had dry cleaning service and they coordinated everything so they could send it to a speciallized place in town. We have so many other examples in which they were always making their best to delight us, and they succeeded, exceeding all of our expectations. The property is simply beautiful. You almost feel like you're in a retreat. We were lucky we had to do ”homeoffice” so we had the opportunity of staying in the hotel the entire time and enjoy the calm and feeling of being at home. The hotel itself and its facilities are fantastic. The rooms are nice and the food is absolutely superb. Unfortunately the service in the restaurant was really poor, which made this stay absolutely unpleasant. We were given dirty table cloths (and they didn’t want to replace it after asking for it), our table was given to someone else while we were at the buffet, we had to order drinks several times until finally served, we were given the bill to sign while still eating the main dish (not even dessert) and actually wanted to order more drinks, after being seated, we had to wait min 10 min to place orders for drinks or get silverware etc. From a 5* hotel we definitely expected something better. This is the only hotel during our trip, where we experienced bad service. which is a pity, as otherwise the hotel is really nice. We would not book it again.
