Really very nice B&B with attention to every detail. Renovated in a modern style with impressive historic frescoes on the ceilings. The two styles go together very well. Lots of technology and convenience. Large room, on two floors. A few small things need tweaking but overall very good! Also the super breakfast provided with helpful, friendly and welcoming staff! We will definitely be back!

Location right in the centre, excellent to say the least. Elegant, refined and well-restored location, which manages to combine modernity and historical charm. Excellent service, very good Alessandra and Diletta, very professional and friendly, especially Diletta for her incredible friendliness. Breakfast with quality local products. We had understood everything from the beginning. We arrive and no one physically welcomes us, on the phone they give us distorted directions and make us arrive with the suitcase at the top and then go back down to a small room outside the structure which looked like a hovel. Zero light and bathroom without window. DOUBLE room, when we arrive the beds were separate. Outside there was a restaurant that didn't let us sleep until 1am and at 8am the bells rang incessantly. After a year of work I wouldn't wish a holiday like this on anyone. Very old and very dirty shower, broken walls and a lot of humidity. Fan in the bathroom broken and consequently it stinks throughout the room for the entire morning. They didn't even give us the measly samples to wash ourselves because according to them they should only be given on the first day (absurd). Poor breakfast and frozen croissants. If you don't want to ruin your holiday, book elsewhere.

Upon arrival there was no one at the reception. Upon entering the room, narrow and dark compared to the photos, as it is underground compared to the structure, we noticed that there were two separate beds, even though it was a double room. In the bathroom, completely defenestrated, the fan was not working and after doing one's business it was impossible to stay in the room, which remained smelly for hours. I called the reception and they didn't even mention a partial refund, which I had to force myself by calling booking. After cleaning the room they didn't provide samples of shower gel (according to them they only provide 2 at the beginning of the stay), it was dirty, the shower drain was green with mould, humidity and they didn't change the towels. The worst thing was the noise, as the windows were not soundproof you could hear the noise of the restaurant attached to the room, the bell tower at 8 in the morning. To close the windows I had to climb. Highly not recommended!

I've read reviews that say there was no one at the reception, it's true. Check in is done over the phone / remotely and it doesn't seem like a problem at all, it's 2021!!! The rooms are very beautiful, spacious and home-controlled. The breakfast buffet offers everything from sweet to savory and Samanta's friendliness is the strong point. We were really lucky to choose this accommodation also because it is well positioned for getting around Salento. Galatina is a very pretty village
