We stayed here in June when it’s low season so it’s not crowded. Staff was super friendly and the pool size is huge facing the sea. In June the waves are really rough so can’t go swim in the ocean. Breakfast and Dinner was amazing, hotel restaurant manager and staff’s service was exceptional. Our room was facing the sea so we get to wake up seeing the ocean. Room was very clean, the only thing is there are lots of spider babies around the sink and closet, also some tiny ants around, everything else is really good. We will definitely come again!!

The hotel is excellent

It's a great location, but the humidity on the first floor is so high that it smells quite moldy.

This is the hotel with the best hardware facilities among the four hotels I visited. The room layout is reasonable, the scenery is pleasant, and it is the only hotel with complete toiletries in the room. What is depressing is the attitude of the service staff in the hotel, which can be said to be the worst among the four hotels. They never greet you when you meet them in the hotel. Other hotels clean twice a day, but this one only cleans once and not cleans it properly. The restaurant waiter only cares about your room number and will not even guide you to the dining table. When asking about the use of the car, I was told to go downstairs to ask. The waiters are more reluctant to do routine work rather than provide service.

The view is very good and the restaurant on the top floor is also delicious. But the facilities are very old and there are many small insects crawling on the table. In addition, the service is not very good and you have to carry your luggage yourself. The hotel has only one small elevator, which is always crowded with waiters.

The hotel was designed by Bawa, the architect who inspired the Aman concept, in the middle of his career. You will feel comfortable no matter where you are in the hotel. The rooms are also very nicely designed and comfortable. I thought this is what the word “comfortable” would look like in a hotel.

It is a characteristic of the Sri Lankan people to be warm and friendly. The breakfast is very rich, with both Western and Chinese dishes, enough to fill you up The hotel is close to the sea, and it feels great to listen to the waves. The downside is that the air is too humid, so I can’t even wash socks or anything dry for two days, haha Thanks to Ctrip. With Ctrip, I feel safe going abroad.

The Lighthouse Hotel doesn't have a lighthouse, but it has a great seaside experience. The work of legendary designer Bawa, the decoration and light and shadow of the hotel and rooms are so unique that I can't stop taking pictures ~ The hotel is divided into a main wing and a new wing. The former is convenient and the latter is quiet. Each has a swimming pool and a beach... Although it is far from Galle The castle is very close, so it is recommended to spend more time at the hotel to experience the lazy time by the sea.

The hotel is relatively old and is the work of the famous designer Bawa; the waiters cannot understand English at all and are extremely inefficient. The food and beverages are average, and the room prices are not worth it in peak seasons; although there are 4 restaurants, in fact, all other food orders are produced from one kitchen, and the quality is average. The hotel's spa only has two technicians, available at any time🈵

I have always wanted to stay at this hotel. Finally clocked in. BAWA's architecture is worth staying in. This hotel is an early work, and the integration with nature is both direct and rough. impressive. The hotel maintenance in Lanka is excellent. But what about interiors that incorporate technology? Prices are also much higher than they were ten years ago~

The overall experience is good. The spiral staircase designed by Bawa is like an epic and breathtaking! It is recommended to stay in the panoramic room in the main wing, facing the sea. You can hear the faint sound of waves at night, which is quite helpful for sleeping. The food in the hotel is quite satisfactory. The buffet and the restaurant on the first floor are not as good as the rooftop restaurant, but the price is about the same. The layout of the room is very reasonable, the facilities are complete, it is relatively clean, and the details are in place. It's a pity that it was rainy for two days in Galle. It's a pity that I couldn't see the sunset on the beach. Otherwise, I would love it here more!
