Kumu is a beautifully appointed guest house, beach front with five star service. Our daughter decided to have her destination wedding at the property, which was amazing. The staff made sure the day was memorable with a dash of Sri Lankan culture, which included traditional Sri Lankan dancers and singers, concluding with a delicious Sri Lankan Feast for all the family. Our Australian family of all ages really enjoyed the property, especially relaxing and swimming in the lovely pool. We had a variety of room types and all were well appointed and luxurious. Breakfast which is included in the tariff was the best we had in Sri Lanka. The massage was awesome and just what we all needed after travelling. Could not fault this property or its staff. The staff organised day trips to amazing Galle Fort which is only a short drive away. We hope to return as it was such a wonderful accommodation. It is awesome for groups and families and also works for couples. Social hour is a fabulous chance to enjoy a GnT with other guests. We enjoyed the company of the other guests that were from all over the world. If you prefer a quiet Social Hour there are plenty of locations on the property that you can enjoy a private drink or two. Walks on the beach are especially romantic as it is very private with hardly any people on it. However, if you are travelling with a group or a large family, and do not wish to rent a villa, this is the perfect location. The staff go above and beyond to make sure everyone has an incredible time.

Shinagawa Beach was a delightful escape for our family. The serene environment, coupled with pristine beaches, provided the perfect backdrop for relaxation. The staff's hospitality was remarkable; they made sure every aspect of our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. We particularly loved the variety of activities available, from lounging by the beach to exploring nearby attractions. The food at the on-site restaurant was delicious, offering a mix of local and international cuisine. Overall, it was a memorable family vacation that we would love to repeat.

My favorite hotel in Sri Lanka, super sea view room, the view is super beautiful! It's very pleasant to walk on the beach in the morning and evening. The swimming pool is also great. There are many chipmunks on the lawn, and the children are so happy. Half board The breakfast and dinner buffets are also very good, and you can see that they are carefully prepared. The staff are very nice, and the elephants folded with towels are so cute 😍

We recently stayed 11 days at this hotel and it did not disappoint. All of the members of staff were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. They go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and have everything you need. The decor of the hotel is lovely, full of character and immaculately clean. We had a ground floor suite which was stunning. The restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes and all the meals that we had were excellent. After visiting other hotels in the area we definitely felt that we had made the right choice. Fantastic for a relaxing holiday for all of the family! I arrived at the hotel very early in the afternoon, and I printed the order number (English version) of Ctrip, but it was still delayed for a long time. But we upgraded the room type: sea view room (room 206). The check-in experience was still great. Because the previous nights were reserved for special hotels, I chose Asia Leisure for the last night because it is a new hotel in 2018. It is indeed new and I was not disappointed. Meals: Two restaurants, we ordered food and spent 26,000 rupees, which is still very cost-effective. Breakfast is a cafeteria, and children need to make up the difference. Location: 15 minutes walk from Galle Fort, it is very convenient to go there by tutu for 300-400 rupees. Supporting facilities: The sight of the outdoor swimming pool is great, you can see the sea view and the towering ancient city, because it is located in the air outlet, it is only open until 8 o'clock every night. The types of equipment in the gym on the G floor are average.

I upgraded the room to the store, two beds, and it cost $28. This time I stayed at three hotels that paid for the store, which are one or two hundred higher than the online price, and it is better to pay the online payment. B&B is generally not good, but it is more appropriate to bargain in the off-season. This hotel is the most expensive hotel I have stayed in for the past few days. It costs 1100 RMB a night. It is more expensive than Marriott and the Heritage Hotel. The bathing water in the room is not hot. I don’t know if it is expensive in the ancient city.

This guest house has a long history and is in a convenient position near the Flag Rock Bastion. The people who run it are so kind and I felt very much at home. I appreciated the air conditioning, wi-fi, included drinking water and tea and the washing line on the roof. The breakfast cost extra but was very good.

My review, of course, will not be about this hotel, but about the hotel of this chain, Thaproban Pavilion Resort & Spa. We booked a room at the Thaproban Beach House Hotel, when we came to check in, it turned out that our reservation at this place was missing, and we had a reservation at the Thaproban Pavilion Resort & Spa. Thanks to the Trip.com team for helping us understand and resolve issues. And the Thaproban Pavilion Resort & Spa turned out to be much better than the Thaproban Beach House. True, it is not on the beach, but the beach is 5-7 minutes away. The hotel is super, all the amenities, large rooms overlooking the ocean. Very tasty breakfasts, 2 swimming pools on site, one with salt water. In general, I highly recommend the hotel. We really liked it. And we never regretted that we moved into it.
