Love this kitschy hotel. Finding it was a bit rough, but once we got that figured out things worked out great. The easiest way to tell someone where it is situated is it's right on the square around Eyre Park. Love that it's attached to the pub - friendly service and good bar food. We really enjoyed the band Evoke! Great night. Would absolutely recommend - and, yes, closing the windows makes the pub noise disappear.

The Skeffington Arms is a great hotel for exploring Galway. Easy walks to the train station and ferry terminal, and at a great central location for shopping, food, and drinks. The staff were welcoming and helpful, and the room was delightfully large.

A brilliant place in the heart of Galway city centre lovely friendly staff and delicious food and a brilliant atmosphere with live music and staff will go above and beyond for any questions or issues you have and more then happy to help I will be back

Loved this hotel! Very convenient location on Eyre Square, spacious rooms with updated, fun decor, right next to the more traditional pub. Breakfast was great.

From the moment we walked into the lobby and was warmly greeted by the staff, we had a wonderful stay at the Skeffington Arms Hotel. So many lovely and unexpected extras like a lovely bathroom, large room with tables & chairs and large tv,very comfortable beds and the tea service and coffee maker. The location in Galway City is perfect. Will definitely stay there on our next trip back to the west of Ireland!

Decor was very dark. Room was adjacent to a roof mounted extractor fan. Live music in bar below us.
