1. The water-saving design of the bathroom is very environmentally friendly, recycling hand washing water for flushing the toilet. 2. Experience the traditional Japanese lifestyle and sleep on the floor. 3. Soak in the hot spring in the semi-open-air hot spring pool and steam sauna.

It was good for the price. I rated the location a 3, but if I had a car I would have rated it a 4. The bath was good, but the outdoor shower pressure felt weak. The sauna was great! It was big and clean. It's great for sauna lovers. The only meal we had was breakfast, but it was good. I'd like to stay here again.

Poor arrangements when checking out You may have written the name in the wrong kanji or entered the number of guests incorrectly. I was told that incorrect information was correct. I felt really bad at the very end.

Don't stay here, this is a black shop that charges people randomly!!! Our breakfast fee was charged twice!!! It was originally 4400 yen for two people for two days. When we checked in, the female front desk told us that we had to pay first before we could have breakfast, so we had already paid for breakfast when we checked in. As a result, when we checked out, the front desk said that we didn't pay and asked us for 4400 yen again. There is no surveillance and it cannot be retrieved; and when we paid for breakfast when we checked in, the female front desk did not give us a receipt. Everyone at the front desk can't speak a few words in English, and the female front desk who charged randomly can't even speak a word. She used translation software throughout the whole process and confused us! I seriously suspect that this person put the 4400 yen we paid when we checked in into his own pocket and deliberately didn't give us a receipt! ! ! We booked a room on Ctrip, because there was only a room without breakfast, so we ordered breakfast when we checked in. Don't go there unless you want to be cheated! And the breakfast is terrible! Small quantity and poor quality ingredients! The hotel has not changed since its renovation in 1992, so all the facilities are very old! We had no choice but to pay for breakfast again. The front desk staff also worked together, so we had to pay for breakfast again! We were cheated!

The baths were gorgeous and the first day was pretty great but for some reason their buffet claimed to be worth $66 per person for a small selection. No matter how much you eat it isn't worth the price. Their English booklet was out of date and mentioned a ramen bar that we waited around for, for dinner. When I asked them about it they acted like I was making it up but showing them the book they said they hadn't had that in a while. It was supposed to start at 8 so most restaurants were closed by the time we found out it wasn't there and they just told us to walk to the convenience store. Wouldn't even call us a taxi when we asked them too. It's great if you want to have the traditional Japanese experience but we felt unwanted.

The hotel offers a free shuttle from the nearby Mikawa-Miya train station up until 4pm, but because I arrived ay 6pm, I walked it. It's half an hour and a little uphill, but I enjoyed it - the view and town are very nice to look at. The staff at the hotel were extremely helpful and fully fluent in English. Check-in was super smooth (I had pre-booked), I just gave them my passport and that was it. I received a map of the building and the concierge circled all the important spots on the map (my room, dining room, breakfast room, where to find the baths). I was given dinner in a private room, fully accommodated to my dietary preference (vegetarian). It was so beautiful, so many individual dishes to try from. The broth was so tasty and I got to try so many traditional Japanese dishes for the first time. It was also a lot of food! I saw another comment stating only udon and ramen are available but that was by no means the case. The day I arrived, the cave bath was reserved for women and the open air bath and grand public bath for men. So after dinner, I had a bath in the cave bath. I felt a bit shy as I'd never bathed naked in front of strangers, but it was very quiet and empty, which made me feel more relaxed. The next morning the baths were switched so I tried the open air and grand baths and especially the open air bath was so beautiful. Breakfast was buffet style, with lots of types of eggs to choose from, tea coffee, juices, bread, and lots of vegetables and meats. The view from the breakfast room was also lovely across Mikawa Bay. The room was beautiful, I slept on a Futon but had western beds available too. They also provided a tea service to have tea in the room, and the Japanese style was enchanting, as well as a yukata with sash and tabi socks. When I checked out, I was given a free ride back to Mikawa-Miya Station. It was a wonderful experience and the staff was extremely kind and helpful when I spoke to them.

I was planning to bring my 1-year-old child with me, but when I contacted the hotel, they informed me that 1-year-old children are not allowed to bathe in the hot springs if they normally wear diapers. Thank you for your understanding. Please refrain from bringing baby bathtubs into the public bath or using the washing area. We apologize for the inconvenience, but we ask that infants and young children use the bathroom in their guest room. However, please note that the bath in the guest room is not a hot spring. Also, regarding non-smoking rooms, our hotel does not have any non-smoking rooms. We will inform you about deodorization. We kindly ask for your understanding as it is difficult to provide complete deodorization. ” was the reply. Smoking in all rooms is rare these days, and babies are not allowed to use the washing area in the public bath. I felt it was a very cold accommodation so I canceled. People with babies should be careful.

Both dinner and breakfast were buffets, but I didn't think it was a unique dish. On top of that, the buffet venue was cold, so I ate slowly in a yukata and pulled it out early without breaking.

If the ban on tattoos is lifted, I would like to see clear and easy-to-understand explanations on travel websites. I stayed there without knowing about it and found out about it for the first time in the bathroom and changing room on the day. It's not just foreigners who get tattoos, but also Japanese people who don't have very good behavior. In fact, I don't like it that way. If I had known beforehand, I would never have chosen this place. It was extremely unpleasant. It would be good if it was openly announced and only those who can tolerate it understand and use it. If you are confident in your policy, please express it openly. Well, I think most Japanese people hate it.

The building is old, but I felt that they were making an effort to change with the times. They turned what used to be a karaoke room into a co-working space, the baths were themed, and there was a coffee space in the lobby. I stayed in a normal Japanese-style room, but the door was not properly fitted, the air conditioning didn't work, and it was hot. However, the room was cleaned and the futon was laid out, so I felt like I was in an old-fashioned inn. The front desk and dining area seemed understaffed, but the staff who dealt with us were very kind. We had a plan with only breakfast, but later added a dinner buffet for one day, which cost about 30,000 yen for three adults and three children (one of whom was three years old). I was disappointed that the content was not worth the price. I thought it was the same price as a buffet in a five-star hotel. There were few things that a three-year-old child could eat, and there was no juice. 3,000 yen for a three-year-old is expensive. Some parts of the bath were old, but it was properly cleaned. However, the indoor bath and the open-air bath are in different locations, so if you want to go between them, you have to change clothes and move around, which was inconvenient. Another inconvenient point was that the shower was about knee-high when you sat on a chair. The shower had good water pressure. When you get out of the bath, there is a rest area where they serve barley tea and iced tea, which was nice.
