Everything was excellent. Very good buffet for breakfast. Nice pool on the roof with gym and coctail bar. My room is on 24 floor has a fantastic view on the green lake, skyscrapers and a port of Galle face green. The room was always clean and fully equiped - much thanks for housekeeping to Dhananjaya!

The perfect location to start and/ or finish a trip to Sri Lanka. Just 15 mins, but a ‘million miles’ from Colombo airport. The Wallawwa is a wonderful, boutique hotel, in a gorgeous setting. The friendly, professional staff welcome you ‘home’ to the property. They cannot do enough for you, not because it is their job, but because they genuinely want to do so. This was a return visit to the Wallawwa for my husband and I, a recommendation in itself. The food is fabulous, many ingredients from their own gardens. Don’t miss tea and freshly made cake and biscuits on the terrace, each afternoon.Spacious, comfortable rooms are perfect for a restful sleep.

First of all, everyone who works is friendly and the food is clean and delicious The building is old but takes a lot of effort to clean up

food was nice . but during morning time sometime we had to wait until pool cleaning ended. so it would be batter if they make it before visitors coming to enter pool. management must educate all room service staff to not to ask for cigarettes from client during the stay.. it's annoying and disturbing. if the visitors gives or offer tips or something , let the visitors do it with thier own choices..

At the request of the boss, I must review this hotel. There are more than 4 kilometers away from the airport. They are quite small and clean. I only slept for one night anyway. The next day was to leave at 6:30 in the morning, so they prepared breakfast just after 6 o'clock, two omelette bars, two sandwiches, and a large pot of coffee. After all, the conditions are not comparable to the 5 new hotels in the city, which is fair enough. The boss also provides car rental services. I didn't try it because the traffic in Sri Lanka is really big. If you have confidence in your driving skills, you can drive by yourself.

Before 5 o'clock in the morning to catch the plane, we two girls each moved more than 30 kilograms of luggage from the top floor in the dark. We woke up the staff when we couldn’t get a taxi. It turned out that we had already called a taxi for us yesterday. We were shocked when we saw a tuk-tuk with three wheels, and the price doubled. We didn’t want to because we couldn’t fit our luggage and safety reasons. After the ride, the driver left angrily and said: You are rich, but our country is poor. We were very uncomfortable. The hotel's mistake did not inform us of the price and the price of the taxi, which caused the driver to misunderstand. After that, the hotel has been unable to help me call a car or arrange a car to go to the airport. When the plane is about to be delayed, we finally found a car on the side of the dark road, which is a blessing in misfortune. It is recommended not to stay in an informal hotel if the flight is early, in case the travel cannot be guaranteed, it will be very troublesome.

Nearby bus stop or train station It is difficult to walk without using a taxi or tuk-tuk. There are no amenities. I need to bring it. It was spicy but very delicious. Hotel tuk 🏨 I think the tuk is expensive. I had money troubles. I went shopping at the place I asked for, and it took a long time because the cash register was crowded. I was charged an astonishing amount. ,, I asked why, but the answer was difficult to understand. A little disappointing. It is better to discuss the money with the owner before using it. I paid for this hotel booking site and stayed at the hotel I was charged for my stay. I showed the image of the receipt from the app, explained it, and asked for a refund. I made a bill payment together with a tuk-tuk, Because the tuk tuk was priced high for reasons I don't understand I didn't get the full amount paid for the hotel. The owner didn't know I had paid. and answered. Why did you make a reservation by paying with a card from the app site? It was a pity that it was difficult to understand whether it was answered like that and what kind of mechanism it is 😢

Very good hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel grounds and the rooms were very well maintained. The food in the restaurant was excellent and reasonably priced (lunch and dinner). The free transfer was excellent, journey time about 15 minutes. I will definitely come back. Thank you to the friendly staff.
