Summit Ttakshang Residency Hotel & Spa Mg Marg

The hotel location is very close to MG road through a shortcut stairway. The standard room feels a tad small and tight but it’s clean. There’s also a small heater in the room which is nice. The breakfast buffet is just average, as it’s too carb heavy and little actual vegetable dishes.

This was my second stay at this property. The location is excellent - short distance to MG Marg, New Road, West Point Mall, Star Mall, and the main town area. Equally close to the Orchidarium which is walkable from the property. Enchey Monastery is also walkable if one is comfortable walking uphill or in decent shape. Rooms are large, spacious, and comfortable. The terrace above is a great place to sit and chill, and provides for great views of the valley and the mountains on a clear morning.

It was a nice experience staying at Summit Ttakshang. The room was nice with landscape scenic view and staff was courteous enough to help. However, path was very confusing as it had not been well organised to move from reception to cafeteria and then the rooms. The whole route is chaotic and built without planning.

Summit everywhere is a home away from home experience. From its inception I have been choosing this group as its close to my heart and its run by very professionally sound people. Rooms , cuisines and behaviour is absolutely good as of now.

The in-house dining options were quite good, offering a variety of dishes with decent quality and taste. It offers great value for money and ensures a relaxing experience for both business and leisure travelers.

The ambience of the hotel was awesome , staff was very polite and supportive. The best thing was bed heater , that was too required and didn't expected. I stayed in the room at 8th floor , the view from window was enchanting. Wishing blessings and growth to the entire team and summit group.

One of the biggest advantages of this hotel is its prime location—just a 1-minute walking distance from MG Marg, which makes it extremely convenient for shopping, dining, and exploring the city. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-maintained, providing a comfortable stay. All basic amenities are available,like electric kettle, tea kits, toiletries, and a geyser. The bathroom was also very clean and hygienic, which added to the overall comfort. The complimentary buffet breakfast was another highlight of the stay. The food was delicious, and there was a good variety of items in the menu, catering to different tastes. Overall, it’s a great choice for anyone visiting Gangtok—comfortable stay, excellent location, and good food. Highly recommended!

Location is great...staff is friendly. Breakfast can start early specially for travellers who need to take flight. Back side entry can be elegant till the road.

Very convenient location and walkable to MG Marg. Excellent food options in buffet. Very supportive and courteous staff. Highly recommended for family as property has good amenities.
