We arrived on time after a long drive and were asked to wait, which we did. However, due to short staffing, the receptionist was occupied with another guest and nearly forgot about us, resulting in a wait of over 20 minutes. In addition, we were assigned a room that was not the room we were originally promised. We chose to stay at this hotel again because our previous experience was excellent and the service was outstanding. Unfortunately, this stay has been very disappointing and does not meet the standards we experienced during our first visit. We hope this matter will be taken seriously and addressed accordingly.

Booked a two queen bed room, they switched us to a 1 bed room last minute. And refused to find us a two bed room and also wanted to charge us for another room for the 2nd bed. Christian was the front desk rep and he said there is no manager onsite or no manager that he could contact.

I am writing to let you know of an employee who went above and beyond the call of duty--Dev Chauhan, General Manager at the Home 2 Suites by Hilton, 13650 Harbor Blvd. Garden Grove, CA 92843. Dev helped me with a very unique situation yesterday. My 80 year old mother who was going through security at the Boston airport on Tuesday, October 7, mistakenly picked up another traveler's "look alike" iPad when leaving the TSA area, by mistake. She called the next dy and told me she had taken the iPad to her mobile provider and then to the Apple Store who informed her that the reason she could not get her code to open the device was because it was not hers. She then traced the situation back to the TSA security area. She and another individual with similar looking iPads and covers each took the other's iPad thinking it was their own! In order to help her, we looked at the location of her iPad in the Apple "Find My" app to see if it would provide a clue to where the person who had her iPad was. Miraculously it stated the above hotel location in California. I got on the phone and Delores, the Hotel Front Desk Attendant, transferred me without hesitation to the General Manager Dev, after I explained the situation. Then after retelling what happened to Dev, I asked if he was willing to help. I first requested that he look at the individuals who checked in on the day in question to see if anyone was from Boston. Despite having 90 people check in that night, he and another employee looked and found only a NJ and NY resident, but no one from Boston. He promptly called me back with that info. I then suggested that after more thought I wondered if we could have him put a photo of the iPad my mother had taken by accident with a sign saying "If you lost this iPad, please come to the front desk" on the doors to the hotel. Dev agreed to go out of his way to help again and promptly emailed me the sign he had posted in the hotel lobby. It was perfect! I sent up a few prayers of thanks and asking that someone in the party who lost it would see it, and profusely thanked Dev for his willingness to help strangers. He was gracious and kind. Within hours he called and happily stated that, lo and behold, the kids who had picked up my moms iPad by mistake and their family were standing at the front desk in front of him and had my mom's $XXXX iPad. They had miraculously seen Dev's sign! We were elated. I could not let this opportunity to let your company know what an outstanding employee you have. These types of folks make the world a better place and restore faith in humanity and good will towards others! All involved could not wait to pass on this great story, and Dev was the hero in it! I cannot thank him enough. I hope that this story can be an inspiration to all involved and to your company that one person's big love and kindness in the service of others made a huge difference for an 80 year old woman and her daughter and the other family as well. We will never forget

The place was roomy very spacious and very elegant.
My Wedding day disaster 5th floor no water pressure no hot water and the toilet didn't work.
Plumber never came to fix the toilet and Complained and GM is not responding.
Overall a disaster on my wedding day.

We did not get hot water in the washroom for the shower for the entire day. We requested the front desk staff multiple times, but they did not bother to fix the problem.

My Ropm was perfect. Nice, clean and well organized with its arrangement. The bed looked soft, but it was a weird lumpy spring effect. Didn't get much sleep to due to not getting comfortable. But i am a person who prefers firm mattress over soft.
The hotel was beautiful and charming. The front desk staff was great.
The continental breakfasts was ok. Basic foods and selections were present such as. Juices/ coffees. Cereal with two types of milk just missing some type of dairy free choice. Toast variety and a muffin w1s available. Some bowls of fruit were nice. And there was a yogurt machine. Which i had to skip. The waffle machine was ready to go.
The kitchen staffing seemed pretty busy preparing food. No eggs, no potatoes no breaded chicken chunks. We must of arrived after a rush. The second round I did get some eggs later and a few potatoes i scraped up and the last of chicken pieces. Poor people behind me didn't get anything. The third time thru i got some potatoes and chicken for my spouse. I do say this thise small portions were very good and tasty just wish i had a proper portion.
The lobby and eating area was spacious and clean.
Checking out was very easy. The parking lot was decently easy to move about. Never understood the parking fees policy. Since not in an actual parking structure or valet parking being available. I am assuming its to ensure a safe spot and preventing a accident tow. This hotel is in a city atmosphere, access to stores is easy.
