La Meridiana ReIais & Chateaux

A short trip from Monaco or Genoa is this wonderful homely hotel in Garlenda where we had the pleasure of spending 3 days , for a work breakaway session . Everything paper wise is adorned with pretty water colour pictures of different aspects of this lovely hotel. The staff are delightful and are super helpful which is a reflection of the charming hardworking owner who is very much in thick of things . The work environment was perfect and in the evening the delegates were treated to a wine tasting and Olive oil tasting before dinner- both of which were very interesting with amazing wine and very interesting oil. The meals need a separate mention as they were really delicious Lingurian meals of super fresh ingredients with fish , seafood , pasta, and more -always with tasty desserts and great wine . The staff really went out of their way to make sure we were all happy and even if it put the kitchen out the request was fulfilled. There is an 18 hole golf course within a five minute walk from the hotel , passing a quaint very old little church on the way where you can play or go for a lovely walk. And there is a lovely pool and gym at the hotel . I believe there are some other very interring interesting things to see around the area but unfortunately we didn’t have the time to investigate so hopefully we can return to this little gem of a hotel which even caters for guests with dogs and or small children.
