I loved the convenience of this hotel. Staff were very accommodating and friendly. Breakfast breakfast was good! Beds are comfortable and pillows are soft. Showers had great water pressure and best of all, daily Bear sightings on location!! We come to Gatlinburg every year in July and my twin daughters said they want to come back here, they loved the creek walk connected to the hotel where they can walk down and skip rocks! It's located at the end of the ***** and walking distance to restaurants.

Great location. Located one block over from parkway. Easy walk to everything. Room was pretty clean; small updates could've made it a little better, but overall it was a good room. Beds were comfortable. View of the river was amazing. Water pressure in the shower was good. A bear passed by our balcony our first night there. Light breakfast options available; yogurt, pastries, coffee.

The hotel is very charming! It is tucked away right over the river and feels nice and secluded. The attendant in the office was very friendly and informational. We got there a couple hours early and were going to wait around for check in but they upgraded us to a room they already had ready! Our room was right on the river and we had a nice balcony with table and chairs. Our room was newly renovated and very nice! It had a larger mini fridge and a microwave. There is even some outdoor seating right by the river if you want to have lunch outside your room. The bathroom was very clean and it even had a built in heater in the fan. They brought us extra towels and toilet paper throughout our stay.

Staff was slow and not very friendly or helpful!! Compared to recent econo lodge stay at other locations this is a Fail!!! Moldy bathroom floor, ironing board bent and will break any moment and noone cared. Doors on vanity are nailed shut?? Main is… Bathroom needs a redo for sure. The only plus was great water pressure in shower. Please take your hotel more seriously or youre gonna lose money people!!!!

- This is a dated facility that has had a few updates along the way. There was a gap under our entry door that you could stick a finger through. We had an adjoining room with unknown guests on the other side. The guests were not an issue, but the locks are old and seem very inefficient had their been an issue. If you look at the surfaces in the room such as the dresser, side tables and bathroom, everything appears clean. However, don't look at the dirt on the air/heating unit or baseboards because they have not been cleaned in a very long time. - The breakfast options are somewhat anemic, however the girl that took care of the desk and breakfast area did a really nice job keeping things stocked and cleaned up. (Most appreciated.) - Upon check out - No one got a receipt....we were all told it would be emailed to us. Hence, if there was a discrepancy in our bill we could could not address it at the time. It felt evasive and shady. - If you have a river view, it is very nice. It is restful to listen to the river flow. The chairs are hard and have no cushions, so your sitting time becomes limited. There is a pathway down to the side of the river, so check it out. - The parking is tight, but definitely saves you the $10-$20 that others charge you to park in the Gatlinburg area. This facility is within walking distance of downtown and makes for easier traversing since you don't have to figure out where to park. - Overall, the stay was okay. I feel like they are working on making things better, they just have a long ways to go.

Clean. Quick & friendly checkout. Updated rooms. Nice decor. Pool was chilly. Nice location, not too loud. Got creekside room & really enjoyed sitting on balcony. Water drowned out any traffic noise. Wish balcony had more than 2 chairs, as we were a party of 3.

We stayed in a king river view room (111). As soon as you walk in you can smell the mold. There was black mold all around the room. Someone tried to spray it with bleach but ended up staining the red wall instead. I have photos! When I asked about moving rooms they gave me the impression that all of the rooms were like that. The manager said he would give me my points back but when I checked out I was told only 2,000 points and I spent 16,000!!! THEN TO FIND OUT I WAS ONLY GIVEN 1,500 points back!!! The connecting door inside the room was disgusting and had no seals, I was afraid someone was going to walk into our room. We could hear everything from the crazy people in the connecting room. Did I mention the smell? Black mold should be reported to the health department. The man said he would speak to the housekeeper but that is NOT a housekeeper problem! That’s a hotel owner problem! Health code problem! After getting home, I received an email of apology but still blaming maintenance and housekeeping. This is not their problem! You need to gut that ceiling and have all new! Black mold is an owner problem! Blood splatters on the curtains, some of the lights didn’t work, just do yourself a favor and don’t find out on your own like I did.

The room was actually as impressive as the pictures were. I have stayed there before. It is an older motel but the room was clean and comfortable. We had a 2 bedroom king suite. The rooms were spacious. It is within walking distance of the *****.

Favorite place we've stayed in Gatlinburg. One block from the *****. Across the street from the back of Ober Gatlinburg. Loved sitting on the balcony. We had geese in the creek every morning and a bear stroll through every night. We also saw several chipmonks across the river playing on the rocks. We loved listening to the water running in the creek and watching the tram go up and down at Ober. The city stocked trout in the river right across from the hotel. This happens every Thursday. Very neat to see. We loved to hike and was only 1/4 mile from the start of the Gatlinburg Trail. Breakfast was good everyday. Enjoyed a bowl of oatmeal and bagelwith cream cheese every morning before starting days activities. Other breakfast options were yogurt, sausage biscuits, waffles, bread for toast, danishes, and cereal. My daughter was sooo excited for Fruit loops every morning. The front desk worker, Dev was sooo sweet and gave our daughter cookies every morning. He was always happy to help or talk with us about daily activities. The place was extremely clean and so comfortable! We will be back and can't wait till next trip watching the creek.
