Had a wonderful historic Inn. Rustic and charming. Excellent location, in the middle of all the amazing shopping and attractions. Had a beautiful view from my room 126. Fabulous free breakfast in the mornings. Charming porch with rocking chairs and a fire place to sit and relax. I will stay here again. Reasonably priced compared to other hotels. A true destination experience.

We chose this hotel not just for its location(centrally locted on the parkway) but also for its history and charm. We stayed in the Maples suite, on the second floor. It accommodated all of us (6) very comfortably. Within walking distance of everything, plus a parking pass so you will not get towed. The complementary breakfast was very good, served from 7 to 10 AM. Every staff member we came across was very friendly. We will definitely stay here again, and the rates are quite reasonable!

Gatlinburg Inn is my favorite hotel. And I have been to great hotels all over the country. The staff are very efficient and friendly. The location is perfect. I love the retro look of the hotel. We always stay in the Inn for our yearly trip to Gatlinburg.

Keep in mind this is truly a historic hotel. We were caught off guard when we first entered our room but quickly realized it had everything we needed. This truly turned out to be one of our favorite spots ever. If you are looking for a modern hotel with fancy amenities this is not the place for you. If you are looking for a clean hotel with wonderful staff and a slower pace this is your place. We were always greeted with a smile from the desk to the cleaning staff. Breakfast was delicious, and they served fresh tomato slices with it just like my grandma. The hotel is right in the middle of the main activities so you can come and go easily. The rocking chairs around the porch were a perfect spot to rest. I cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay here. Can’t wait to go back!

Stayed here in early June. Was with my wife, so this review is based on two people, and no kids. The good: 1) The included breakfast is amazingly good, and very close to what you can get off site. If you had to go out to a restaurant every morning and pay for what you get here, I think it would cost you at least $40. 2) The staff is amazing, and very attentive to your needs, and very friendly. 3) Of course the location, right in the heart of downtown Gatlinburg, is probably the biggest selling point. If you had to drive in from a hotel or cabin or condo not near the parkway, parking is $20 a day. 4) Most rooms have a balcony, and if you’re lucky enough to snag one facing east, you can people watch folks walking on the parkway (bring your binoculars for best viewing, ;-). The not so good: 1) Water pressure in this place is very low. 2) The TVs are HD capable, but the service they have is not in HD. I didn’t even think it was possible to get non-HD service in this day and age. LOL 3) Out of 150+ rooms, only a handful have a microwave and fridge. Ours did not; we brought in a medium sized cooler and kept that filled with ice. 4) The building is very old & rustic, and it has a somewhat musty smell. 5) Parking can be a real challenge, especially if you have a larger vehicle. Behind the building has “normal” sized spots, but in front, most of the spots are quite small. Bottom line is that I definitely would recommend, mainly because of the location and the breakfast.

My husband & I just stayed at Gatlinburg Inn for the first time & hopefully we'll be back. It was very clean. The beds were firm & comfy! Close to everything, activites, shops & restaurants. The pool & breakfast were wonderful! Everyone was very nice. It was quaint but that made it more charming!

Stayed here for a dance competition. The hotel is charming. The location can't be beat. The room was big, double shower heads in the shower was unexpected. Loved the two balconies also! We left the door open and listened to it rain. We did try the breakfast, it was really good. Also, can't be beat since it's free. We had biscuits gravy, peppers, eggs, hashbrowns, it had more selections then I expected. Joni checked us in and was very knowledgeable about the town. I enjoyed chatting with her, she is lovely. Also enjoyed the late night chats with Brandon who was covering 3rd shift. Overall 10/10 I can't imagine finding a better hotel to stay at. Excellent staff, everyone from the great front desk, to the clean room thanks to housekeeping, and the breakfast staff.
