The hot spring is so comfortable. Free snacks and drinks are provided during tea time and evening time. It's a great experience. The hotel is quiet, has a balcony, and can see the sea view. It's super comfortable.

I went to Kochi to swim in the sea. It was good to see other review sites and it was easy to go to the place and time. The people at the front desk who first responded when I came were very polite and nice. When I went to a Japanese restaurant with my family for dinner, I couldn't get in because of the reservation system. ,. I was surprised when I checked the receipt later that the Calpis I ordered for my child, which was about the size of a beer glass, was 600 yen. I thought there was nothing I could do about it since it was also a day trip to the hot spring (°▽°) After that, the mothers who cleaned the hot springs were kind, and the souvenir shop was nice to deal with. Ocean view room It feels old, but both the child and the dad went there wanting to stay one more night.

きれいで設備もよく、またビュッフェの種類も良くて泊まるには良かったです! ただ市街地からやや離れているのでアクセスが大変です、、

It was used on a bus tour. I was able to use the National Travel Support and purchased souvenirs with coupons. Our room faced the mountain, but by the time we arrived at the hotel it was already dark and we had to leave at 8am the next morning, so we didn't have time to enjoy the view. The room was a western style room. It was nice because I like Western-style rooms. The room was relatively clean, spacious and relaxing. I was concerned about the steps in the bathroom. The breakfast restaurant opens at 7am, so I expected it to be crowded so I went a little early and waited for it to open. It was as crowded as expected. I secured a seat by the window and enjoyed my meal slowly. It's nice to have a view of the coast. The public bath was a little old and not very good, and the open-air bath was also very average.

The surrounding environment of the hot spring hotel on the mountain is acceptable. This hot spring hotel located on the mountain in Kochi Prefecture is really "out of the way". Apart from the shopping shop attached to the hotel, there are really no living facilities. The lobby is very large and the rooms are not small, but the bathroom is completely disproportionately small. The facilities in the room show traces of time. A hot water kettle is provided, but even basic tea bags are missing. The air conditioner was turned on to the maximum, but there was still no big response. There was a very weak wind, as if there was no air conditioner. The selection of TV channels is pitiful. There are only five Japanese channels. I have stayed in hundreds of hotels. This is the first time I have seen such few TV channels. The restaurant's breakfast and dinner are buffet-style, and guests have almost the same dining time. Therefore, the speed of replenishing dishes seems a bit slow; and it is only halfway through the meal time, and it seems that many plates are no longer replenished.

I stayed here for the second time, having stayed here on a tour about nine years ago. Unfortunately, both times I was in a parking view room. Some people on the same tour have ocean view rooms, so it's a matter of chance. The room is designed like the Daiwa Royal hotels in Japan, with a staircase leading to the second floor in the atrium of the lobby. The room is spacious and comfortable. The only thing provided in the room was a plastic cup, which was not suitable for drinking the shochu and ice purchased at the shop on the first floor, so I called the front desk and they delivered a glass cup right away. Dinner was previously served in the large hall, where a craftsman would demonstrate searing bonito, but this time it was a banquet in a banquet hall, and the content was a bit disappointing. However, the breakfast the next day was filled with many locally produced ingredients, all of which were delicious and very satisfying. Above all, the view from the restaurant on the top floor was amazing.

The entrance hall, the shop, the hot spring, the 36m² twin room with balcony, I was surprised that it was the largest among the other Daiwa Roynet hotels I have stayed at so far! So many tour buses were parked there and the breakfast venue was extremely crowded. But the large open-air rock bath was comfortable, and because it is on high ground, the sea was visible from the breakfast venue window, so I had breakfast in a refreshing mood. In the morning, the staff at the shop apologized to me for the congestion at the cash register (there were three) the previous night, even though it was not their fault, which made me feel warm inside. When I stayed there, the izakaya on the first floor offered a special price for takeout draft beer and sours.

This trip was covered by the National Travel Assistance Program, but this one was not. I had to rebook and the accommodation fee nearly doubled. It's true that the price just went back to the normal price, but I don't know. As they raised the price a lot, it was quite crowded, and I think there were many groups. The breakfast venue was quite crowded. It's old, but it's a resort hotel, so it's spacious. It's on the mountain side, but if you're on the sea side, you should be able to see the Pacific Ocean. The hot spring is a private source, sodium chloride spring. I think it's normally disinfected. Somehow, it didn't feel like a hot spring. No late-night bathing, from 6am. In the morning, there was a line of elderly people who had been waiting for a while. Well, starting at 6am is a bit late. Since it was a breakfast-only plan, we had dinner at the izakaya in the hotel. We expected it to be crowded, so we made a reservation the day before, but it turned out not to be that crowded. It seems that there was a group that arrived by bus late. For breakfast, we had bonito dashi chazuke and a self-made whitebait bowl. These two are the selling points of the breakfast here. It's pretty good. The prepared foods are a bit better than a business hotel buffet.

Although it is an old inn, it is very clean and well-cleaned. The hot spring is spacious and there is an open-air bath which was very pleasant. I was also very satisfied with the food, the Bagna Cauda course.

Response from Property: Dear Booyon1962, Thank you for choosing Royal Hotel Tosa from among the many hotels in Kochi Prefecture. We appreciate your praise for the cleanliness of the hotel and the Yosakoi Onsen open-air bath, which is the pride of the hotel. Our open-air baths are modeled after Katsurahama and Muroto Misaki, two tourist attractions in Kochi Prefecture. Katsurahama's bath, which recreates the coastline that spreads out in a bow shape between Ryuzu Misaki and Ryuo Misaki, features a statue of Sakamoto Ryoma and a jar bath, while Muroto Misaki's bath, which has a cave bath modeled after the Mikuriya Cave made of piled up large rocks, features a statue of Nakaoka Shintaro, allowing you to enjoy different atmospheres. We are also very pleased that you were satisfied with the Bagna Cauda we prepared for dinner. Starting from March 1st, we will be offering a Bagna Cauda course that uses sake kasu, a specialty of eastern Kochi Prefecture, and makes use of the flavor of yuzu, which is different from the Bagna Cauda we previously offered. It has a different taste, so we hope you will enjoy it if you have the opportunity. All our staff will continue to strive to be a hotel that is loved by our customers, so if you have the opportunity, please come to Royal Hotel Tosa. All our staff look forward to seeing you again.

The food was awful. Enjoy the whole Awaji Island 3-year-old tiger puffer fish! I made a reservation for the puffer fish banquet ≪One night stay with dinner and breakfast≫, but after the reservation, I received a call asking if I could have regular puffer fish because they couldn't get Awaji Island tiger puffer fish, so I agreed. However, the amount of puffer fish was too small. How many pieces of sashimi? Level. The fried chicken was about the size of the second joint of a finger, and I've never seen anything like it. I don't recommend it.

Response from Property: Dear Hase Hiroshi, Thank you for choosing Royal Hotel Tosa from among the many hotels in Kochi Prefecture. We are very sorry for the disappointment you experienced with the meal. We received a message from our supplier stating that the Awaji Island 3-year-old tiger pufferfish has been depleted across the entire island of Awaji, and we have contacted all customers who have made reservations in advance and have received their consent to provide domestic tiger pufferfish. We also checked with the kitchen staff to see if the amount of food served this time was appropriate, and it was the amount we normally provide. As for the photo of the Awaji Island 3-year-old tiger pufferfish shown, as stated in the plan description, the photo shows a serving for 4 people, and depending on the number of people, it may have looked less than the amount in the photo of the food, but we have instructed the relevant department to reconsider this, including how it is presented and served. Thank you very much for your valuable feedback. We will use your valuable feedback to create a more comfortable hotel for our guests, so if you have the opportunity, please come to Royal Hotel Tosa. All our staff look forward to seeing you again.
