It was our first visit just some days ago in the Chateau de L'ile and we will surely stay here again if we visit the area again. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The whole place seemed to be quite out of time and space in a positive way. Very quiet inmidst a park and close to the river yet close to the tramway (7 min walk) to go into the city of Strasbourg. The breakfast was very good for France, witth variety of sausages, eggs, cheese and salmon as well as youghurt, jam, sweet things, cereal. Breakfast until 10:30 a.m. was also very much appreciated;-) The rooms were tidy and clean and there was even a refrigerator. Bathroom with shower and bathtub and all amenities. Check out until 12:00 a.m. is also very nice for vacationers like us. We did not eat in the Restaurant this time but heard from other guests that it is very good. The only thing which we didn't like is that we could not open the window in the night due to many moskitos. Which was a pity as the air outside was so fresh and cooling. However they told us at check-out they will have a solution for that very soon.

We were looking for a hotel for one night in Strasbourg but everything was complete. Then I fell into this hotel on Booking. I searched the telephone number on the internet and called. I fell on a charming person who gave me all the information I needed, and I booked a room. The hotel was located in the heart of the city centre and the city centre was located in the heart of the city centre. We were told that 5 or 6 km away there was a tram to go to the city centre at a record price of €420 for 2 people to go back and parking included. The hotel is very quiet, large room, super breakfast and very varied and excellent quality price ratio. We will return to it without any concern.

We chose this hotel for economic reasons. The fact that the only night staying and having a car was that it was not meaningful to spend the ”did” figures they ask in the hotels in the centre of Strasbourg, because the King Soleil is in the noise and if you don't have your own means, I would say that it is very unrecommendable: it is a four-star average, perhaps overpriced, but in Strasbourg it is so. It is excellent to park in garage for only 5 euros, but also wanting to avoid this small amount, The hotel is located in the heart of the city, and the hotel is located in the heart of the city, and the hotel is located in the heart of the city. We had left packs to be kept in a freezer, and had to store a low temperature medicine in a refrigerator bag. And no, lovely, you don't do that! Raise the c. and go to you to pick them up, don't send us the client, even because you could quietly leave the post, being accompanied by another colleague. Or, as an alternative, remove the ”Prestige” not deserved from the hotel's name.

This is a joke! I arrived on Christmas Eve, no personel in the whole building, with codes we got in found our key just laying on a desk unattended and went to the room. The room stinked of cigarettes like crazy, it was like being in a bar!! Disgusted i called the one number they have for emmergencies, i called 40 times!! 40 times!! So now i have to sleep in the lobby, this is a nightmare!!! Christmas for God sake!! For this price!!! Edit: owner attacked me in the lobby in front of my son, grabbed my room documents and ripped them into pieces, yelling i should have gone to another hotel, or slept in my car! We almost fought and my kid was crying. The sigarette smell was paint he said, thats impossible. His son eventually helped and claimed i phoned the wrong number, the answering machine litteraly said: 'hotel Bugatti we are not in, call back.' i taped the incident with my phone, the owner was very agressieve verbally and physicly. The son gave me a room for the night as a short solution. But this reaction is madness, i'm leaving in the morning and filing a complaint. Do NOT come to this place

GGuest UserWent to Strasbourg for a weekend and even used my points for the stay. I wasted my points on this hotel. The ladies that worked during breakfast had nasty attitudes and acted as if they did not speak any English. It was so many people they were running out of food. Customers weren’t utilizing the tools to get the food or social distancing. One day I had to eat in a room on the other side of check in but mind you they weren’t keeping the tables wiped down on that side so clearly they were understaffed. The lighting outside the hotel was terrible and scary. I did not feel safe walking to my car when I was getting my luggage and I’ve attached photos for reference. The light you see is from my phone flashing to take the photo. The crazy part is there is a hotel down the street that is lit like Christmas but it’s sad Holiday Inn didn’t get the memo to improve their lighting as well. This is the second time I’ve had a non pleasant stay at an IHG hotel and I’m starting to wonder what is going on. In Amsterdam it’s always amazing service but between Frankfurt and Strasbourg it has been terrible. Perhaps the staff from Amsterdam could pay a visit to the aforementioned places and give them a lesson in customer service. Overall I wouldn’t recommend staying here it’s more like a truck stop place and most definitely do not waste your points like I did for a room.

The property is surrounded by a high wire fence, grown through with weeds, the entrance to parking and to the hotel were not apparent. Even the IBIS sign was not illuminated. It was very confusing, even to confirm it was the hotel or to find a way in. However, the manager on duty, Guillaume, responded immediately to email and was very welcoming and completely restored my spirit after I arrived. The property is heavily used and so needs some work. But, everything was clean. Everything worked. Guillaume and the other staff were very friendly, hospitable and helpful. The breakfast offerring was first rate, food service and beer were available until quite late into the night. And, it was all good. Also, there is exercise equipment, TV lounge, foosball, etc. Nobody was using, but it was available. Quite a place. I would be happy to stay there again, now that I know the way in.

GGuest UserNous étions un groupe de 12 et avons été reçus comme des rois. Les grands axes routiers près de l'hôtel ne sont pas nuisibles. Nos nuits étaient calmes et paisibles. Le petit déjeuner copieux et la Demi pension un plat un dessert sont très copieux. Le personnel que ce soit du directeur à la cuisinière ou aux serveurs est très professionnel, convivial et toujours à votre écoute. La femme de ménage fait son travail impeccablement. Merci beaucoup Mathieu et toute l'équipe. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir.
