Happiness Beach Resort Siargao

Had a great time here. Good location between general Luna town center and cloud 9 surfing beach. Staff were very warm friendly and hospitable.

Beautiful resort, can’t fault the place. The staff are all really helpful and welcoming. It is really peaceful at the happiness beach bar, food and drinks are lovely and there is entertainment on every night. We hired a scooter for 400 peso for a day and also staff arranged laundry service for us. The rooms are a great size and well equipped. Really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend

Bad service, expensive and the rooms with a too much insects! It was insane! We arent happy with the place, the room or even how they treated us. We dont undersant the price for that poor quality. And the most important thing a very uncomfortable experience because of the bugs and insects inside the room and the bathroom. We will never repeat

I'm deeply disappointed and angered by our stay at Happiness Beach Resort in Siargao. The promotional photos are a complete misrepresentation of reality. The service was horrendous, with staff displaying a total lack of interest in guest satisfaction. To make matters worse, our room was a nightmare, overrun with bugs and cockroaches, compromising our comfort and hygiene. This resort failed to deliver the luxury and relaxation it promised, leaving us feeling cheated and miserable. I strongly discourage anyone from booking a stay here. It's a complete letdown and not worth risking your holiday over.

My stay at the Hotel Beach Resort Happiness in Siargao, priced at a steep €130 per room without breakfast, was nothing short of a nightmare due to a horrifying cockroach infestation. The poorly designed room doors let all sorts of bugs in, resulting in over 30 flying cockroaches dominating the walls and ceilings of our room and bathroom. Despite our complaints, the hotel staff offered no solution to our predicament. In the dead of night, we were forced to pack our bags and search for alternative accommodation, a daunting task given the hour and closed reception desks. Eventually, we had to leave before dawn, with all our belongings in tow, cramming four people into a single room at another hotel. I am deeply displeased with the treatment we received and the lack of resolution from the hotel's management. Even after leaving, our messages have been read but ignored, with no extra compensation provided as initially mentioned. I write this review not out of spite but as a warning to others. The experience we had at Hotel Beach Resort Happiness is unacceptable, and future guests deserve to be aware of the potential ordeal they might face. El pobre diseño de las puertas de las habitaciones permitía la entrada de todo tipo de insectos, resultando en más de 30 cucarachas voladoras que se apoderaron de las paredes y techos de nuestra habitación y baño. A pesar de nuestras quejas, el personal del hotel no ofreció ninguna solución a nuestro problema. En plena noche, nos vimos obligados a hacer las maletas y buscar otro hotel, una tarea desalentadora dado que era tarde y las recepciones estaban cerradas. Finalmente, tuvimos que irnos antes del amanecer con todas nuestras pertenencias y dormir cuatro personas apretadas en una sola habitación en otro hotel. Estoy profundamente insatisfecha con el trato recibido y la falta de resolución por parte de la gerencia del hotel. Incluso después de irnos, nuestros mensajes han sido leídos pero ignorados, sin la compensación adicional que se nos había mencionado inicialmente. Escribo esta reseña no por despecho, sino como advertencia para otros. La experiencia que tuvimos en el Hotel Beach Resort Happiness es inadmisible, y los futuros huéspedes merecen estar advertidos del servicio que ofrecen.

From the moment I stepped my foot at happiness beach resort I knew I wouldn't want to leave! Rooms are clean, spacious and well equipped. The beach bar has amazing view and ambience. Food and drinks are of very good quality and it was nice to see the faces of the bar staff every day :) Also, we had breakfast every day at goodies restaurant and although we would like a better variety at the breakfast menu, the quality was good and all the dishes were very tasty. Many thanks to Genri for his kindness and smile :) A highlight of our stay was the signature massage of Hamsi, that was the best massage I ever had! I had it twice and all the people from our group had it as well and were all super satisfied, so make sure not to miss it! On the way to the airport and already miss it , I really wish to go back one day!

This is my favorite spot in Siargao. They have the best vibe. A multicultural spot full of happy people. The name is not a coincidence. I love their food choices. My favorite dish was the schnitzel and also their wide choice of salads. They also let you rent a motor and book trips for you. Basically a one stop shop for happiness. They have great cocktails and live music in the evening. This is not a typical place. It’s really extra special. I will come back here for sure.
