Room and Onsen is good, dinner is ok, very near to the train station.

Love this ryokan, there are 3 public baths and private onsen, with other facilities. The staff were friendly and helpful. The ryokan also provides shuttle bus from Gero station. Walking from the station is also not too far.

The location is amazing and the breakfast was really good. However the traditional Japanese room that we stayed in was on the old side and had an unpleasant scent when we first walked in (probably the old tatami). Also the building we stayed in we had to walk pass the smoking room which you can also smell the smoke in the elevator.. The public onsen was newly renovated so in very good condition, we wish we could had booked one of the rooms so the overall experience would be even more pleasant!

The location is very good, just a seven or eight minute walk from Gero Station, and there is a shuttle bus. The hotel's hot spring facilities are very good, and the buffet breakfast is also very good! Gero Hot Spring is extremely beautiful and well-deserved!

The hotel is old and the public facilities such as public baths and restaurants are well maintained. The rooms are a bit old and the color of the toilets is a bit unsettling. Everything else is fine. Dinner was good.

Very nice hotel, opposite the station, not far to walk. In front of the hotel is a small frog shrine. The bedroom is spacious. Book a river view room. There are many Onsen services in the hotel, including Private Onsen. You can reserve with the hotel reception. Breakfast is a Japanese style buffet.

Ogawaya Onsen Hotel is located on Gero Onsen Street, which is very convenient. There is free parking. The room is clean and the facilities in the hotel are complete. There are free foot baths and drinks in the lobby. There is a beautiful river view from the lobby. The hotel has free The hot springs allow men and women to bathe separately. You can also pay extra to book a private bath with your family. However, the dinner was a little more ordinary than expected. There were no surprises. But overall it was comfortable and satisfying.

There were some problems with the accommodation reservation... There was an unexpected problem at check-in, but we couldn't communicate well and I was tired at the end of the trip, so I just ignored it. Also, usually when I check in, they tell me when to make the bed or ask me when to do it, but they didn't say anything, so I wondered if they should do it themselves. I was a bit surprised because I laid out the bedding while I was in the hot springs. As soon as I checked in, I spread out my suitcases to go to the hot springs. Still, nothing was lost, but please pay more attention when checking in. The hotel location is good for sightseeing. The view is also good. However, the connection is very complicated, as the movement route was not properly considered during the expansion. The elevator was cut off or did not stop at the middle floor, so I had to change trains twice to get to the hot springs, and the information signs were confusing and the distance was long for older people. I know it will be difficult. The room we stayed in was a bit small for two people. Since there's a table, it's the perfect size for a blanket... I used two carriers spread out and half under the table. The open-air bath... It's good, but you can see it if you look at it from the outside. I think the wooden marimak needs to be made tighter. Aside from that, the bathhouse is nice and spacious. Hirayu Onsen didn't make me feel dry even after washing up, but here I felt dry after getting out. Everyone in the group felt that way, but I don't know if it was a bad thing. Breakfast was okay, but average.

A very nice hot spring hotel. The Japanese food is very good. As soon as you arrive in Gero, there is a car to pick you up from the hotel. The hotel is very big. You can accidentally leave the hot spring bath without knowing where it is, but the signs are very clear. Good value for money hotel.

There was air leakage in the room, the air conditioner was very loud, and my throat hurt from the cold. The corridor is so cold. This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in in Japan.
