Nice hotel and good experience in Gero. The hotel does not have too many facilities but hot spring is ok. Location is right next to the station, very convenient.

The stay in Mutsumikan was very good. The Hotel (Ryokan) is very close to the train station. To the center of Gero it takes roundabout 5 minutes by foot. The experience seemed very authentic. Most of the staff understand basic english, so communication was never an issue. Our room was very clean and tidy. Everything you need for a 2 night trip was there. The outdoorbath was pretty small, but that was never an issue with the amount of people staying there. Breakfast and dinner were in a japanese style and very tasty, but maybe not to everyone's palate. Overall the stay was pretty good and I would stay there again.

The room facilities are also relatively old, but fortunately the maintenance is OK. The hot spring area is also relatively small. The main feature is a warm environment. The standard of one night and two meals is online. Everyone is quite satisfied with the meals.

This is my second time to Gero Onsen. I booked it late, and only Mukan Onsen Hotel met my requirements. After arriving, I found that I made the right reservation. The hotel is 1 minute away from the train station and about 300 meters away from the hot spring street. It is quiet in a bustling city. It is not far from various check-in places such as Onsen Temple, Yuqing Park, and Gassho Village. The quality of the hotel's breakfast and dinner is good. The Japanese-style room is average. The hot spring in the hotel has an open-air wind tunnel. The front desk and restaurant services are very enthusiastic and can actively communicate in English.

The hotel is located right in front of the station, which is very convenient for those who take the tram. The hotel also has parking spaces for those who drive themselves. The interior of the hotel looks very comfortable. It is a standard Japanese style, very quiet and comfortable. The Japanese breakfast is very good

The hotel is just opposite the JR station. When you come out of the JR station, don't leave the parking lot. Walk 20 meters along the station on the right, cross the underground pedestrian passage, and you will reach the hotel. It is very close. The hotel is very convenient to the hot spring street. Breakfast (7:00 or 8:00) and dinner (5:30 or 6:30) are very good, very delicate and thoughtful. There is free coffee in the lobby. The public hot spring is on the first floor. There are two pools for women, one inside and one outside. Towels must be brought from your room.

Very close to the JR station, downhill and uphill. When I first arrived, I found my name written on the welcome board, which made me very happy🥳. There are only 17 rooms here, although it is full, it is still very quiet. Hot springs♨️ There are outdoor and indoor. There are time regulations, and you can only go to the hot springs within the specified time♨️. Each time you meet only 1 or 2 people, the experience is good👌 Recommended. We booked breakfast and dinner, which are also limited by time. So it is not recommended for people with a full schedule, because if you miss it, you will cancel it directly. But authentic Japanese food is still worth recommending!

This is my second time visiting Gero. I stayed in this great little hotel. It is clean and comfortable, and the closest one to the train station. The open-air hot spring is still very good, and the two meals were also very attentive and I was very full!

I went in and took a look. It was beautiful and big, but it looked like a supermarket, surrounded by customers wearing kimonos. The Mukan is relatively small overall, and the hot springs are relatively thin and few. But there are not many guests, so it is quiet and exclusive for the hot springs. The only drawback is that you have to check out at 10 a.m. It would be better if it was an hour later.
