My stay at The Royal Senses Hotel in Crete was truly exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed by the warm and friendly staff who made me feel right at home. Hotel is not close to anything. Need to drive 5-10 minutes to the closest village for food etc. but it’s a very pretty seaside village. Room is ok. Need to have better shower drainage. Planning of the hotel is just not very thoughtful. Should have one funicular on both sides of this large hotel. The changing room for the swimming pool is like a 5 minutes walk away. Doesn’t make sense. And why did they put so much salt in the pool? Restaurant food was very mediocre and service was slow. So many hotel choices in Crete and this is definitely not the best.

It was a perfect stay experience. I arrived at the hotel after 8 pm. Everything was very thoughtful from the moment I walked in. The young lady who received me was beyond beautiful. I was pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a room. The entire hotel is very new and beautiful, and there are many things you can experience, including various swimming pools, spas, and private beaches. Every hotel employee is very service-minded and all requests are met. We stayed at this hotel for a whole day and it was a completely relaxing vacation. If I could, I would give 10 stars

The location of the hotel is a bit far away, so it is not recommended if you are not traveling by car.
But the hotel has a beautiful appearance, complete facilities, and many swimming pools. The design of the house is nice, just dark.

Нашей семье очень понравился отель, великолепный дизайн выполнен со вкусом и в постельных натуральных тонах. Очень разнообразные завтраки, также посещали на ужин шведский стол и остались все очень довольны, вкусная и качественная еда. Много бассейнов с отличным видом на море, нам также понравился пляж в виде бухты, можно понырять с маской, и ребенку комфортно теплая прозрачная вода и очень удобные павильоны для лежания. Отель в который хочется вернуться. Очень классная работа Kids Club, мой ребенок был в восторге, девушки занимаются отлично с детьми.

Amazing resort. This is one nicest and best run hotels in all of Greece. They do an excellent job of ensuring you are relaxing during your holiday. The adults only section of this hotel is amazing!

Good quality rooms + pools - poor food + location
A good quality hotel with some disappointing elements to our stay.
The rooms are very comfortable and cleaned very well. We had a shared swim up room and it was very spacious even with 3 people in one room.
The pools are very good and sun loungers really comfortable. Service by the pool was in general very good, however the drink quality was more "all inclusive" than al a carte (even though you are paying for it). Don't be fooled by instagram, the drinks don't look like that around the pool. They are very quickly made and of average quality.
The breakfast buffet is by far the worst I have ever experienced. For the cost of a room you would expect some level of freshly cooked food, but its all buffet. They have a lady making omelettes, but its poured out of a 3 litre pre-mixed jug and tasted horrible. Buffet eggs were under cooked and pre-cooked boiled eggs were raw. There was plenty of pastry / pancakes etc so young children would probably be happy. In a nut shell they are serving a cheap buffet breakfast that you would expect in a lower class of hotel. You can have breakfast in your room / pool on a floating platter - but its just the buffet brought to you so don't waste your money.
Location is poor you can't walk anywhere - the sister hotel on the beach in front is separated by a motorway, there is a free shuttle. You have to get a taxi to visit any restaurants outside the hotel or the sister hotel - 18 euro to small town / 50 euro to the large town
