We loved the Hotel! There was a blemish on our otherwise fabulous trip, which could be so easily remedied by the hotel and/or the town of Gettysburg. PARKING. We were advised by the hotel clerk that we could pay to park in the garage behind the hotel. There was no signage at the entry to say that we needed to prepay upon entry at a kiosk. Those directions were not given at check-in. We left the garage the way we came in and saw nothing about payment. When we left the next morning, we thought we were going to make payment when we left to discover that in less than 24 hours, we had been given 2 tickets! This horrible experience could have been avoided if clear directions were given at check-in or posted on the entry to the garage. As 2 former educators, we are rule followers and are so disappointed by this experience.
