The Inn at Lincoln Square

The owners are just wonderful!! My family and I-only stay here any time we come to Gettysburg!! It’s very clean, comfortable and convenient! There isn’t any other place I would stay!! Thank you so much for such wonderful stays! Absolutely a great place to stay!

While I think there are improvements for this to be truly five star, it is a beautiful place and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. We booked a three-bedroom apartment that had a stove, refrigerator, washer and dryer, and a big comfortable living room area. It came complete with free parking for the days we were there and they were open to an earlier check in as the apartment came available. Each of the rooms/apts in the inn have deep history. Lots of pluses, including easy check in, lots of information in the house, a decent amount of space, prime location. What could be improved may not be possible. The air conditioner is very weak and so sleeping definitely felt like a hot box. It was hard to keep the door to the main bedroom open, because of the lights that streamed into the back alley. So, too, the refrigerator was not cold. The TVs did not really work and since the town closes early, your choices are reading or an early bed night (and that is fine). Finally, the bathroom toiletries were not replenished and it was a bit dank. We would not recommend this for more than four adults. Though, there are three bedrooms, the one bathroom would likely be a hard thing. Still, staying at the inn means that you are at the center of everything as it is right at Lincoln Square. We enjoyed having a cup of tea in the morning and plotting out our day or returning in the evening to sit and relish in the days events. It was easy to go back to on the several rainy days and convenient to all downtown amenities.

The inn is right in the middle of the cute shopping and dining area. Stayed in Sarah townhouse and it was amazing. Great to have a full kitchen and living room area, which works for families as well as for business meetings. There were 4 beds - in 3 separate rooms. There is one very functional bathroom upstairs. The townhouse oozes charm. Bc the Sarah is on end of building there was a lot of natural light. I chose a townhouse for quiet and it was very quiet at night. Parking was very convenient. Communication about check in was thorough.

I love this place. It's quaint, charming, well decorated, and in the perfect location. I would have been jealous if I stayed anywhere else. The rooms are decorated in civil war era furniture with a well stocked hidden kitchen. It is so pretty and comfortable. The location allows for easy access to the downtown by parking in the designated spot and walking. Everything is so close.

I booked a surprise Valentine’s Day weekend for my family. We stayed in one of the town homes. The hosts were great!! Easy access in and out, right in the center of Gettysburg . What a wonderful town to spend time. We had a great time. We will be back!!

Perfect place stay in the square. It’s centrally located to restaurants and shops. The Inn had a quaint country feel. My room had a kitchen and I wish I could have stayed longer. I’ll be sure to stay here again.

I have stayed here several times and it is fabulous. I feel like I have my own luxury apartment on the square because the suites are large and beautifully decorated. Best place to stay in Gettysburg!

This place took my money, double booked us out of a room. We drive 7hrs, arrive - no parking. Ring the bell to be allowed in, nobody comes. We call their front desk, a man insists we had no reservation. We said we had confirmation as well as a bank debit and would like to show him. He would not even allow us inside to talk about it face to face, wanted us to email our proof. He said he would call us back. Standing out front in the heat, waiting; he finally calls back and says it was a new rep that made a mistake on their end. Would not refund in cash, so my wife and I stuck with limited funds in the middle of town with no room on one of the busiest weekends of the year. We ended up having to pay a higher rate at a comfort inn, last room avail, 4th floor with a broken elevator. Thanks for the memories. These people are terrible. Take a tip from me and don't count on these folks for a good vacation

This was such a charming inn! A true gem! Our entire family enjoyed our 5-night stay very much. We had the Sarah Danner townhouse for seven people, three of whom were children. The washer and dryer were an absolute Godsend. We were able to cook our own breakfasts and lunches and enjoyed dinners out. The inn was close to most everything, so we could walk anywhere—and did —all the way up to the summit of Culp’s Hill and back again, plus many, many more places in town. We were so sad to have to leave! I have already resolved to go back within the year and stay at the Inn at Lincoln Square again. Can’t wait!
