Stayed here for two days! All perfect! From eating, to spacious rooms (superior) to beach service! The pizza (with electric oven) served on the terrace with sea view is also excellent. I would like to point out that I was surprised by the kindness and helpfulness of all the staff, without exception, which is not a given.

The Hellenia hotel front desk staff said on checkout that we had eaten things in room and said we owed money on checkout... THIS is NOT a LEGIMATE billing and I told staff to remove charge. THE FRONT DESK staff did not remove the charges and NOW I am having to DISPUTE the credit card charges of approx $40 This experience really cancels out a lovely stay for an older hotel that has a great location and beautiful beach setting!

The hotel is old but in the beach. The staff is absolutely horrible with the exception of Tonino. They are rude and treat Americans like second class citizens. The day manager is even more rude than the staff Obviously he leads by example and instills bad behavior in everybody . The staff does not care about guests and they do not take pride in doing their job. They are just there to make a buck Breakfast is horrible Do not stay on the fifth floor as you may break a leg going up and down the stairs especially if it rains. There is a strong sewage for coming from the bathroom and the rooms are dirty with hairs all over. They don’t have blankets !! Imagine it’s November and all you have to cover yourself with are 2 sheets. The hotel is unused mainly by tours such as Globus other wise why would anyone stay there? To get abused and be offended?

La camera era sporca, con residui di carta ed etichette lasciati dai precedenti clienti. In più punti abbiamo constatato polvere e sporco un po' ovunque. Il pavimento sicuramente non era stato ne lavato ne aspirato. Ma il peggio è stato il bagno con toilette sporca perfino esternamente e vistosi residui di muffa e sporco agli angoli della doccia. Ho foto ! Cortesemente abbiamo riferito la cosa alla reception dove venivamo tranquillamente convinti che avrebbero provveduto a pulire immediatamente. Tornati in camera però di pulito c'era solo il wc... il resto non era stato minimamente considerato. Visto che alla nostra indignazione è corrisposta una loro meraviglia abbiamo preteso che la direttrice venisse a constatare personalmente. Anche lei incapace di affrontare la situazione….. anzi. Finalmente dopo, aver alzato un po’ la voce e aver scattato alcune foto ci è stato promesso che dopo la cena avremmo trovato tutto a posto. Nessuna scusa, nessun gesto di cortesia a testimoniare la loro grave mancanza. Il bagno era si un po' più pulito ma il balcone... i capelli in giro non certo miei... insomma altro che 4 stelle! Ormai rassegnati ma molto delusi, dopo una colazione non certo all'altezza della categoria di appartenenza abbiamo lasciato l'hotel senza che nessuno abbia fatto riferimento allo spiacevole accaduto. Non torneremo mai più! Assolutamente incapaci di aver a che fare con l’evidenza dei fatti e la cortesia.

This hotel is rated 4 star but can't see how this rating has been achieved. Great location hotel on the beach, however, it has deteriorated and is in need of refurbishment. We found some of the staff unhelpful, and quite short tempered and angry. Breakfast staff were particularly unhelpful, and intolerant of the customers. The reception staff also seemed intolerant and stressed. The rooms are in need of upgrade, and the tea and coffee facilities in paper cups is new to us. Breakfast was limited, but the evening meal we had on the last night was quite good, which gave this review an extra star.

We stayed for a week on a guided tour with Titan travel. On the third day my wife fell on the stairs, broke her arm and taken to the local hospital. The group leader was of no help despite this being a part of Saga. My wife is 78 and I am 80. We speak no Italian. The Hotel was extremely supportive. They allowed us to take all of our meals in the room for four days and check out late afternoon for the flight. They scanned and sent all the documents to our insurer. Arranged a doctor to attend and one young woman came to the room and sorted out the complicated sling for her arm, the instructions for which were in Italian. We are eternally grateful to all the staff. You will be in good hands. Additionally the hotel is pleasant and the food excellent.

Abbiamo soggiornato 4 notti in questo hotel durante un tour della Sicilia. L’hotel è molto bello e pulito, personale gentile e disponibile anche per piccoli suggerimenti per un pranzo veloce. Le prime due notti avevamo una camera vista mare ed un balcone molto grande, anche la camera era grande con una zona soggiorno con mega tv e zona notte con un altro televisore. Forse l’unico neo era la doccia un po’ piccola. Le ultime due sere camera con vista laterale e senza balcone, ma molto spaziosa e con doccia grande. Spiaggia top e mare fantastico. Teli mare a disposizione nelle camere.
