The property is located near the port of Gili Trawangan, so once you arrive on the island there is no problem reaching the property on foot even though the roads are not all asphalted. We had a Deluxe Suite, which was a rather large room with a private bathroom and hot water shower. The bathroom is inside the room but to access it there were three steps (downhill), so you had to be careful especially in the evening. The bathroom, although covered, had some 'holes' in the cover which allowed insects to enter. The room was also not perfectly bright because there were only 4 light bulbs in the corners. Breakfast was served by the boys directly in the room at the desired time and consisted of an omelette, a pancake, coffee and in some cases fruit. The guys have always been kind and super helpful in meeting our requests. One day it was lunch time and they invited us to eat with them! Negative note: in 5 days the room was never cleaned, but upon request the towels were changed. Finally, at 5 in the morning the mosque prayer inevitably interrupts your sleep: this is not the fault of the structure but it is important that you know this if you plan to stay at Gili Trawangan. All in all: it's not a resort and we knew it, you need to get used to the conditions, but... I recommend it!
