Best Hotels near Sunset Stables, Gili Trawangan

The hotel is on the first line, close to the most party places. Ideal for those who love parties. You will be able to fall asleep after one in the morning. Nice staff. The rooms are old. The bed linen is old. Everything looks bad. Not all rooms have hot water. The hotel is not worth the money. But there are many old and overpriced hotels on Gili.

Stayed here for 5 nights as part of our honeymoon trip. We were in Tenda villa which is beautiful with its own pool and outdoor-ish bathroom. It has a little kitchenette area where you can prepare coffee and have breakfast when they deliver it to your room. The mini bar is well stocked and well priced. The villa comes with bikes to use to get around the island. Unfortunately the bikes we had needed some care - the brakes didn’t work on one of them, at all. There were no lights on them, which isn’t unusual for Gili T but did cause issues. It would be advisable for them to add some. The bell also didn’t work! They were clearly old bikes as the handles were split and worn, and the baskets were all dented. Maybe time for some new ones!! The only other reason that Kuno didn’t get 5 stars was breakfast. We messaged every morning to get breakfast in our villa as the public/communal area is quite small. We’d message at 0730 and sometimes it would get to 0815 and there’d be no sign of it. But we’d have got up early as we were diving so needed to leave. Twice my Husband left without eating as it was too late. The hotel said it was because they were busy with lots of food orders, but our breakfast also turned up cold most of the time so it was clearly just sat waiting for someone to bring it. We also had an issue with eggs being mostly raw when they turned up so maybe specify that you want the egg fully cooked, just in case… We never ate dinner here so we can’t comment on the quality of any of the other food.

Ten minutes walk or two minutes by horse power from the ferry terminal. Great location for bars, restaurants,snorkeling etc. Most rooms were spacious,though ours was a two storey apartment which was a bit cramped and creaky.Access from our double bedroom to the bathroom was via the single bedroom which was a bit awkward. Breakfast was great and served on the beach across the road from the hotel. Spacious pool for the kids to play in. Lovely and clean with friendly staff. All in all a good place to stay at a good price.

The staff is fantastic, everyone worked hard to make us forget the time. From the moment we arrived, they took great care of us, with the aim of making our stay unforgettable. A big plus is the bedding, it is incredibly nice, it is rare to find such good quality mattresses. The location a little away from the center is really a plus, it allows you to sleep peacefully, because the center is really very lively, day and night. You will need to allow 20 minutes on foot and 10 minutes by bike, which are provided by the hotel. The restaurant has a breathtaking view of the sea where every evening, you will have the opportunity to admire the sunset over Bali, while enjoying happy hour. The catering is good, we ate every evening at the hotel and were spoiled. Breakfast is à la carte, which avoids wasting food from buffets, plus the staff will do everything to satisfy your desires. Well done to the restaurant and kitchen employees! A special thank you to Rudy, a real ray of sunshine. He is everywhere at once, seeking in every way to please you. Extremely versatile and knowledgeable, Kardia Resort is lucky to have him. We really enjoyed our stay at Trawangan and that was mainly due to the staff at Kardia Resort. Thank you to all employees and well done your employer can be proud of you. We hope the management will take care of them. Beautiful hotel, beach. The downside is that it’s impossible to swim - you’ll walk a kilometer on rocks and grass and it’ll still be knee-deep. And the second minus is the audibility in the rooms. The first night we didn’t sleep (the toilet was roaring very loudly🤪) and the second night it started raining (some areas of the roof are plastic or glass) due to heavy rain, it felt like we were sleeping on the street under an iron roof. In general, 2 sleepless nights. But overall, it didn’t spoil our mood 😇

The place was so nice, really recomended, i was there with my friend. The place was quiet far from the central area and really perfect for me who want some peace. The sunset in the place was perfect and good service by the staff

Nice rooms but a bit on the small side. Located beach front and right by the harbour so it’s in prime location, on the main water front with bars and restaurants located close by. Food was average for the most part and service was a bit slow unless you order room service. Wasn’t happy with a dish but they didn’t do anything about it or allow me to return it but other than that the food and room service was good. The pool looks a lot better in the pictures but it’s nice in the mornings while the suns on it.

We had a great stay at Scallywags on Gili T. The staff are great, the restaurant is on the beach and offers super views. The spa is super - Mesr gives great massages and reflexology. The room is very comfortable and the outdoor bathroom is magical. Scallywags divers were great with snorkelling trips - it was an amazing experience snorkelling with turtles. And we appreciated the Go Pro filming. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Located at the main road of the at Gili Trawangan Very big swimming pool at the entrance Another smaller pool in the resort This area is big so renting a bicycle will be a good idea Breakfast was so so Dinner is good as they have BBQ dinner at the beach area which is very windy & comfortable Walking distance from the jetty but strongly suggest you take private boat from Lombok main island as the public boat is very crowded

The Wisma Bunda is a minimum place, very close to the center (a walk), it is the couple that manages the structure is super nice and available. The hotel is old but we found the clean room, unlike other places that Bali and Lombok leave a lot to desire. The bathroom with shower is outdoor but private, I was very good, I would return now. Excellent quality/price ratio (16 euro per night for a double) Recommended
