Good hotel with buffet for lunch during the week

Some cosmetic challenges aside, we felt mostly comfortable for our two night stay. An unexpected lack of security on external doors. Was nice to be able to open windows in the room. Adjacent restaurant was nice for convenience, and had some great staff. Heat lamps are a bit too intense for breakfast buffet, but warm food is better than no food.

I stay at Best Westerns because I know I like the mattresses and pillows and they tend to be clean. This was no exception with the added advantage of having windows that open, with screens, even on the first floor. I had my window open all night, and because of the design of the building, I couldn't hear the nearby highway or anything else besides birdsong. I asked for a dinner recommendation and the person on the desk suggested a Mexican restaurant in the gas station across the street. Skeptical but tired, I tried it and it was phenomenal. My water bottles froze solid in the freezer compartment of the mini-fridge, as I had hoped.

Nice comfortable beds and clean rooms with good rooms when you need a mobile accessible room with nice fridge and microwave.

Very nice front desk was ready and prepared. Room was not what we booked though. Stopper in bathtub didnt work. No vanity to get ready. No security features at oitside doors.

The room smelled like stale cigarettes (so did the halls). I had to go to Walmart to febreeze my entire room. The carpet was stained and needed to be replaced. Access from the outside was not secure, anyone could enter. There was no key entrance.
