The check-in was quick and the desk clerk was very friendly.. I chose this hotel because of the included water park on the description of amenities included in your stay.. but the fact of the matter was that half of the pool was closed off and empty and the hot tub did not work and it appeared that there was no water circulation in the pool.. so that was a bummer.. as far as the room.. the lamp on the desk had non-working plugs for your computer.. so you had to move the furniture and crawl behind it to find a plug.. so you either got a desk lamp or a plug for your computer.. the clock between the beds was very outdated because none of the USB ports worked.. the bathroom and the shower were clean and the room had moderate water pressure but it was acceptable.. as for breakfast that was included.. it was acceptable.. my score or this visit is 3.75 out of five stars.. would I stay in this hotel again? Yes I would

Facility was clean, with good customer service, however delayed maintenance items are starting to appear. Air conditioning wasn’t working properly upon checkin and required a visit; followed by a defective remote control; desk phone wasn’t working properly and dirty; AC outlets on desk light were worn out so charging was intermittent at best.

Stopped in on our way home, the beds were very comfortable, plenty of towels, and the breakfast was delicious! Unfortunately they seem understaffed. There were crackers mushed into the elevator when we arrived and we’re still there when we left, and our shower didn’t seem like it was cleaned there was someone’s hair and other dirty spots when I went to turn on the shower. Other than that we had a great trip.

Well the poop area has ratchet straps holding the top of the slide to the ceiling rafter's.. one of the pools were out of service. The whole area looks nothing like pictures on line

As Marriott Vacation Club owners, we always choose Marriott properties for our stays, and our recent experience at the Fairfield Inn and Suites in Gillette was nothing short of five stars. From the convenience of check-in to the friendliness of the staff, every aspect of our stay was exceptional. The rooms were impeccably clean, and the pool area was a delightful retreat. This is, without a doubt, the nicest property we have stayed in! If you are passing through Gillette on your way to the Black Hills or the Tetons, this is the perfect place to kick back and get some rest for the night. Highly recommended!

The pool is a free for all and the stuff that we’re watch the slides where on their phones the whole time. Also the pool was freezing and one of the pools were broken.
