The most amazing and unforgettable experience! I stayed in their Gardener’s cottage for 4 nights. It was such an amazing experience, felt like jumped into a time portal. The garden looked spectacular, especially in the morning. Waking up with the sound of birds and garden view was a privilege. 5 mins walking distance to the CBD and waterfront, and you will also pass the rose garden and the heritage government house! Thanks for making my trip so special, Corinda will definitely be my continued pied a terra in Tassie. Read less

There was a problem with the check-in, even though the payment was successful. When I checked in, the hotel said that I had received a cancellation email the day before, and I didn’t know who had the problem. Fortunately, the hotel had the last room left that day, otherwise I might have slept on the street that day. In the end, I wasted one at the front desk. I stayed at Ctrip’s after-sales department after paying for a room for many hours. To be honest, I was a little disappointed that they didn’t handle this major incident very well.

Beautiful scenery, comfortable room environment, good value for money, praise 👍This is the most secluded leisure resort in Hobart, which makes people linger. I hope Ctrip will recommend this good accommodation hotel more!

Very Good

The garden of this hotel is spectacular. Breakfast is cooked to order. It tastes good and is exquisite in appearance. Although I read the reviews and received rave reviews, I have some opinions. It may be that they have different concerns. The overall feeling of the carriage suite I booked was not good. The platform stated that the room type is 108 square meters. I don’t know what the standard is. The overall internal space is very cramped. The two rooms upstairs are also small, with only one bed. The bathroom, kitchen, laundry room and living room downstairs are very full. There is basically no place to put luggage. The sanitary conditions are average. There is still plastic paper in the washing machine and the seals are not there. It was moldy and the dryer door was full of black hair balls, indicating that the hotel did not clean the washer and dryer after the previous guest left.

We stayed in the carriage house, but the actual stay was a bit disappointing. There was a strange smell in the house, the facilities were a bit old, and the kitchen area was dusty.

The location of the house is very good. You can see the sea when you go out. The surrounding environment is good and it is convenient to go anywhere. This is like a homestay. No one cleans the room after staying for two days. There is only one garbage bag. There is a black ball in the dryer. I saw it mentioned in the comments before, so I threw it away to avoid affecting the mood of the next resident. The service staff was quite enthusiastic and helped with the luggage. But when I called to ask how to connect to the wifi, the other party said that it was in the check-in email, but I looked at it several times and there was no relevant information. I thought about going out to play during the day and coming back to sleep at night, so I didn't worry about it. Overall, it's okay, but I still want to live in a different place next time.

It may only be once in your life that you have the opportunity to live inside an ancient piece of art. It is truly amazing.

We stayed in the Basil crisp room for 3 nights. It was beautiful and very comfortable. I loved all the old pictures on the walls and history. The gardens are amazing make sure you take a walk through them. We walked into the CBD everyday and it was a pleasant walk. The staff are lovely, there if you need but don’t bother you otherwise which we like.

Corinda was such a lovely home away from home. The building took us back to a bit of Tasmanian history. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We traveled during the cooler days but the rooms were warm as toast. Central to the city it was easy to get to most places by foot.

We stayed in the beautiful George crisp room with a view out to the ocean . The house and gardens are really lovely in this heritage house . Every morning we enjoyed a delicious breakfast in the sunny conservatory. There is a very comfortable lounge for guests to enjoy . It was very peaceful and a short walk to the botanic gardens and the heart of Hobart . Tessa and Roger

We stayed in the Gardener's Cottage for 6 nights and it was perfect for us. We greatly enjoyed our stay there! It was very private surrounded by beautiful gardens and also had a fully equipped kitchen with a cooktop, microwave, refrigerator, and all the supplies you would need. It also had a washer/dryer combo in the cottage, which was very helpful and handy to have. There are stairs in the cottage to get to the bedroom, which has spectacular views, but is not for someone who has mobility issues. The location is great too. It is in a quiet neighborhood close to the Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens one direction and downtown for the wharf and fresh seafood in the other direction. Both are only about a 15 minute walk from the property. We highly recommend The Corinda Collection if you are staying in Hobart.

It was a 5 star experience staying in such a magnificent old home set high on the hill overlooking the waterfront. It’s a great location for a short walk to Salamanca, constitution Dock and getting the ferry to Mona. The attention to detail taken in restoring this old home into a masterpiece is second to none. The staff were delightful and nothing was too much trouble for them. If you’re looking for an alternative to the generic hotel chains but still want comfort, luxury and personal service, take a look at Corinda in Hobart. This charming old home also has an interesting family history attached to it.

‘The Coach House’ I stayed here last week for three nights. The communication was great from start to finish. The Appartment was pre heated for our arrival and the wood was stacked for our fireplace. The mini bar was full and generous with generous pricing. The apartment was soo cozy and warm, it really felt homely. The location is a 20 minute walk to the wharf and the township of Hobart, beautiful big houses. The service was 5 stars alone and the gardens of the main house were stunning and well maintained. I’m already planning on when we can come back to stay longer.

What can I say Awsome place to stay has everything you need and more Will stay again in the future It's was nice quiet street safe and off the road parking which makes things alot easyer to stay and very easy to find considering I've never been there before
