The staff were very helpful. The meals were very beautifully presented. The staff were very considerate of my son who has special needs.

The hotel was absolutely amazing, loved the pool section as well, me and my partner had an amazing time, employees are really nice, hotel was clean and tidy, facilities were clean :) Highly recommend!

Enjoyed the stay yet again as it’s our third time. We mainly book as we get to stay and use the spar facilities which we love. Little disappointed you have to pay into for parking.

I cannot fault the hotel. We booked in for a two night package with dinner on the first night, breakfast both days and an afternoon tea on the second day. After looking at a some previous reviews I was a little concerned as one or two commented on how poor the food was. We couldn't have asked for more the food in the restaurant was delicious. The bar food and drinks are VERY pricy however, with bar food costing the same as the restaurant. The cream tea was very enjoyable, I would say a bigger pot of tea would have been preferred as what we were given was an individual pot for one between us. We used the spa on both days and had a wonderful weekend relaxing in a beautiful hotel. A key drop off box would be beneficial for checkout as people were queuing up just to hand there key in. One lady got particularly grumpy when my partner walked to the front and just placed the key on the reception desk. A totally unnecessary reaction, but a box would prevent this from happening.

Clean, comfortable hotel,’nice quality furnishings and modern decor. Lovely restaurant, with great menu and friendly staff. Excellent location, close to city centre and motorway links. Excellent pool, fitness and spa facilities. I would definitely visit again.

12 of my family attended my 80th birthday dinner on 21st June at the Robinswood Gloucester hotel. I cannot thank the staff enough for making me feel so special. The food was excellent, the service professional & the room was spotless. Thank you so much.

A nice big room for our family, including our dog. The service at the bar was very slow when ordering food, x2 of our orders were incorrect. The room could have been cleaner, with the fan on offer covered in dust. Otherwise a pleasant stay, with a nice breakfast.

Hotel feels a bit tired but good leisure facilities, clean and comfortable room, excellent breakfast and great value for money on a Secret Escapes offer. Restaurant meal was good. Quite a way from Gloucester centre but easy on an Uber.

Stayed at this hotel on Sunday 23rd June for 1 night. Arrived at 4pm and when checking in I was told that I had to pay £5 parking for an overnight stay 😞. It was a warm day so myself and my wife asked the barman if there was anywhere to sit outside where we could have our drinks. He told us there was a small garden area outside with tables and chairs so we went out there with our drinks. We sat down on the only table without empty glasses/bottles on and cigarette butts on the floor by it. In the evening we had a lovely 2 course meal, I had the Gourmet Burger and my wife had the chicken, ham and leek pie dinner. The room we stayed in was basic but nice and we both slept really well. When we went for breakfast in the morning it was buffet style and you helped yourself. It was lovely food but I had to wait between 5-10 minutes for a fried egg but in all fairness to the waitress she brought it to my table for me. I would have normally given this hotel 3 stars but due to the fact that it was such good value for money (£128.50 Dinner, Bed & Breakfast + £5 parking) and the barman/waiter (Dean) had such a pleasant demeanour - I am going to give a 4 star review. Dean was extremely helpful throughout our stay.
