Generally ok but not worth to pay for the price $180 per night . Did not change towels daily and have to use back and difficulty to close and open the doors. The food is fantastically nice but we have avoid to take the fruits as the flies were resting around and on the fruits at fruit preparing, outside of the dining building.

Great escape from the busy city! It’s located in a beautiful forest location and you can watch big groups of deers at the golf course. Rooms, amenities and restaurants are top. Overall a fantastic stay!

Whilst the location and rooms are terrific, the service was absolutely awful. We went to the bar to have some coffee and got no acknowledgment of any sort from any of the waiters for 15 minutes and only after complaining did we get served. Dinner was late by an hour and again only hit served after complaining. Either the staff haven’t been trained to standard or the management is so weak that they can’t see the indifference the staff are showing their guests

Very nice place.

This is the perfect place with local culture and design with international amenities. We liked that the resort feels like you are away in a forest area but too far from the city if you want the city-life experience. The food was great. Spa was amazing! Staff was exceptional. Don’t think twice - book this spot! We will definitely go back for another visit

We stayed at Gokarna for 2 nights, everything was really good, the room was comfortable and clean, the staff were very helpfull and the service was good, meals were top class with a wide variety of choice, breakfast buffet was also excellent, we really enjoyed our stay here and can highly recommend Gokarna Forest Resort

We decided to celebrate Valentine's Day with my family and collaborated with Mr. Santosh to ensure everything was perfect. He secured a great price for us. The front desk staff was professional and gave us clear instructions. However, we were disappointed that we didn't receive welcome drinks and the room's refrigerator was empty in our suite rooms. The housekeeping service was not up to par and the front desk couldn't fix the issue. The requested product was forgotten. The food was expensive for the small portions and the customer service was lacking. It seemed like inexperienced interns were working that day, making it a disappointing experience compared to previous visits.

To stay here at the end of a long trek was absolutely perfect. Excellent service, quality all round! The grounds of the resort were picturesque with a golf course and a forest/ jungle at your doorstep.

The resort is absolutely beautiful! A getaway from the hustle and bustle of the big city but not too far of a drive. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. The rooms are spacious and fully stocked. The only con is the property doesn’t have an elevator. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Really a A class hotel.Amazing staff and facilities. So many things to do in and around the hotel. There is something for everyone, wether be kids or adults.Will be back. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone coming to Kathmandu.

Beautiful location with a natural park and golf course. The bhodhi tree in Little Buddha movie was located there. service is four star with gentleness and helpfullness. the spa could use upgrading. Will return to stay for a week next time in Kathmandu

Gokarna Forest Resort was a nice experience for me. Its tranquil forest location offers serenity and close to nature vibes. Staff were helpful, food good and rooms comfortable. It has some perks like a well maintained Golf course (probably one of the best in South Asia), indoor swimming pool and Jacuzzi. I can whole heartedly recommend this place for weekend retreat for couples and a family getaway.
