NO STARS!!! I travel for a living and have never been treated so poorly by staff and management. I have never written a bad review. I guess I'm easy going in general, but this place takes the cake! Put one load of laundry in for $2, set timer on my phone for 22min. Came back 22 minutes later to find an old man with a screw driver trying to open the lid by force! I asked what the problem was? He didn't answer. I asked again a little louder, he turned and said "broken" in broken English. It was just finishing the Final Spin cycle & he unplugged it. Then continued for 10 minutes trying to forcefully open. I've been a general contractor for 30 years, I also owned and ran a successful inspection company. I've serviced, inspected & installed countless appliances. Even a novice would know if you unplug a washer before cycle is complete, it's not going to auto unlock. How he came to the assumption that it was "broken" in the span of 22 minutes, I'm sure I don't know! Maybe somebody or himself thought it sounded loud? Anyhow, I only put a regular week of work clothing in machine(t-shirts, shorts, socks, underwear), no sweatshirts, towels or blankets) ITS SUMMER!, Didn't even come close to filling it up to top when loading. I tried to tell him to plug back in & let final spin cycle finish as it was at the end of the 22 minutes when he unplugged, but he didn't understand me. So I went to the manager (not sure of name but he was working on Saturday 9/7) and asked him what was going on and tried to explain situation & ask how machine was "Broken" if it hadn't completed its cycle, & how this incompetent hack of a maintenance man came to this conclusion? He had no idea what was going on & couldn't communicate w/ worker more than rudimentary sign language. He came back to me and said, he's working on getting it open. (No kidding, really?) I waited patiently in lobby for worker to truly "break" washer open while manager paced around lobby on a personal call on his cell phone. Finally wandered back and saw that washer lid was open, I started putting my clothes in dryer, and the old guy starts yelling at me in broken English, that "It's you fault, to heavy, to heavy, you break!" I was stunned! He was in my face like he wanted to swing on me. It was crazy, I looked at him & argued that it wasn't more than 3lbs (WET!) (not even cotton shirts) they're light weight wick away material & light weight shorts! The manager came back and said he could hear us & that the worker was used to working with these machines & that if he said they were broken he would know. Well you can't argue w/ Stupid, ignorant or incompetent people as you know, so I shook my head, grabbed my clothes, and air dried them in my room , (BECAUSE THEY WERE ALL LIGHT WEIGHT SUMMER CLOTHES) !!! Never been treated so unprofessionally by anyone(and I'm a contractor) so that's saying a lot! Terrible staff, bordering on criminal! DONT STAY HERE!
