Stayed here after a wake nearby. Convenient pub. Staff were friendly and efficient. Rooms not enormous but were fine for solo traveller. Excellent cooked breakfast. Goring and Streatley railway is close by within walking distance with plenty of trains into London and Reading. Look out for the tiny plaque to local resident George Michael who apparently ate there.

We just had one night at the Miller. Its a beautiful, traditional pub, Inn type feel. We had a friendly, warm welcome. Showed to our room. The room was big, lots of space and comfortable. The window latch didn't close properly however it was a warm night so not a problem. It was a Friday night yet the area was quiet. Plenty of hot water and the shower was huge. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and plenty of it. Lovely service too. There's no carpark. However theres parking options nearby, either street parking or the Goring carpark. For our one night stay, the Miller was a good choice.

Friends and I had 8 rooms Sunday. Food closed 5pm and bar shut 8pm and no warning / heads up with the booking. Even the website says shuts 10pm. Heating/Hot water went off before 10pm and nothing worked until I highlighted it. My room was not clean, serious cobwebs and one of two shower curtains just old and tired. I mentioned it and then was told the cobwebs were fixed only to go back after dinner to see exactly the same cobwebs. My window out to the road can’t have been cleaned in weeks and just let the place down. Friend’s rooms toilet macerater went off every 30 mins. Next door my other friend could hear it. Security light in the corridor went off and on all night. At best it’s a lock up pub that has rooms that in my opinion need some money spending on them. Very tired and quite disappointing.

Don’t waste your money on the food. Airfrier food which took 30 minutes to come out when the pub was dead for a Sunday service. Main courses they were interesting. Burgers were unfortunately overcooked and dry. Sunday lunch had flys landing on it, the supervisor was more interested in other things and being very loud then, sitting in the beer garden after telling the waiters to keep an eye on the flys landing on the uncovered food! The young lad and girl who was working Sunday 17th were very good. Could not fault them. I think this place must have changed hands, the last time I attended with my family the food was out of this world. Yesterday was precooked airfirer standard food.

Loved it here. Beautiful room. Lovely helpful staff. Great comfortable outside seating and good food. I didn’t get to try breakfast as I wanted a very early start. 8 am is a bit late for people on a big walking or cycling trip.

Just back from a lovely stay at the Miller of Mansfield. We had four rooms booked and the team went above and beyond to facilitate an early check-in so we could get ready for an event. Breakfast was absolutely gorgeous! We have quite a few dietary requirements, but nothing was a problem and the service and quality of food was totally amazing! The rooms were very clean and individually decorated with lovely touches. We were so well looked after and look forward to our next visit! X Also, Goring is beautiful and we had no problems parking, even though it was a weekend.
