The room was clean and had an iron, kettle and fridge. The “double” bed upstairs was two single beds shoved together. Not worth paying for a third person as it was a sofa bed- which pulled out extremely low down so they basically slept on the floor. They also had a very hard section so was not very comfy. It cost us an extra 85 pounds for this- which was not worth it! Having an appointment close by this property has a superb location literally opposite Göteborg central. Great if you are arriving by train, coming by car means that parking is at an (understandable) premium. But, for 395:- a night you get a reasonably spacious garage with direct access to the hotel. The hotel is designed in a square formation with a large atrium in the middle. It's good to be aware that many of the rooms face the atrium, which means your view will be looking out into the atrium. On Friday night the hotel had some event with live DJ and loud (but good!) music - having one of these internal rooms would have been disturbing. The check-in went smoothly, the receptionist recognized my Radisson status and gave us a room overlooking the square (one could see the station from the room!) and it was very quiet (didn't hear anything from the party/event on Friday night). Bathroom was fresh and clean, the shower had decent pressure although it tended to splash water on the floor. The executive room we got was spacious, had a comfy sofa (which didn't feel super clean), very comfortable bed, nespresso machine .. and no shoehorn! It seems to be a disappointing trend for Radisson properties to either have a pathetic small shoehorn, or none at all. The entrance was carpeted which although it had been vacuumed, it felt a little dirty. The rest of the room was wooden floors. The TV looked impressive - a good size .. but it turned out to be quite a dated unit with no accessible HDMI ports, we never used it. Breakfast is not included by default in the rate, and I have mentioned in other Radisson property reviews, this tends to reduce crowding and improve quality significantly. Breakfast was good here, not quite as good as the one in Stockholm, but the staff were overall very good. Didn't have a chance to try the gym or spa, but entering and exiting the lobby area it always felt lively and there was a hub of activity, especially on Friday evening. I would stay here again, and would recommend this property.

The hotel is easy to find - especially if you get the airport bus into Gothenburg, as it only a few minutes away from the stop, and so is really central. Best rooms are on the top floor, under the roof. We started off on the main floor, near to reception in a Grand Lit Superior room (that being what we paid for in advance). Although that room was large, it was cold and the person working on evening reception (although really helpful) didn't know how to get the heating working (the radiators were all on but no heat in them). Also the central a/c was on - and blowing cold air. Why? That couldn't be turned off, so we eventually swapped rooms - up to the second floor. Although that room was significantly smaller (looking at the website it was a Double Room Superior as it certainly could not be described as 'spacious' - barely any room between the bed and the wardrobe on one side), it was more characterful, and warmer. Still had central air on though. Needless to say, no refund for the difference in room price - so with that and the hassle of changing rooms, I'm not giving 5 stars. Breakfast is very good - just watch when you go as it can get incredibly busy and the staff, despite working mighty hard, don't have time to clear up - so one morning there were a lot of dirty plates/cups stacked up on tables, meaning they couldn't be used, thereby reducing seating. Once the rush was over, however, it was much better. We opted for the wine and fruit deal one evening, which was great - lovely fruit platter, and the fizz was good, too. Overall, an excellent base for exploring Gothenburg.

I was looking for somewhere affordable just a short walk from Chalmers University and ended up staying in this friendly clean updated traditional hotel. Just minutes away from the main streets, a half hour walk to the sea or Botanic Gardens and with a generous breakfast each morning I could not have asked for more. The staff were welcoming when I arrived early for check in after 20+ hour journey and found me a room. There’s a wonderful old school lift up the centre of the original staircase: be prepared to go alone with your suitcase or squeeze in with one friend because that’s all there is room for!

I needed to arrange a conference at the same hotel a trade show was being held. Based on a previous experience I thought all would be ok, I was wrong. The hotel seems to work openly against your actual requirements. I'd asked for rooms to be reserved which proved a problem. I'd said from the outset that we'd require a group dinner with menu choices, this also proved to be a problem which resulted in me needing to find a restaurant nearby who could help. Ridiculous that Gothia towers (at it's size) expects a large group to all eat the same meal with no regards to choice, whereas a local restaurant can accommodate you seems strange to say the least. When arriving at the conference rooms I was taken aback that I wasn't able to meet my contact whom I'd shared so many emails. It was a faceless envelope handover and the mention of 'ask at reception if you need anything'. The only positive from this was a lady called Christina who was able to help locate items that had been shipped ahead, I'm grateful for her help. The breakfast room at the hotel was disorganized chaos, find somewhere to sit by yourself and get on with things. It reminded me of an all you can eat option in a hotel in Egypt years ago. An experience I never repeated, much like this event left me with the same thought!

🚌位置：從機場坐大巴，然後再步行10分鐘就可以到。步行一路還經過哥德堡的幾個主要觀光點。 🛏️房間：每一層都有很多個房間，剛入住的時候像走迷宮一樣。房間的床是獨立兩個床墊的，也是很好的設計。像大部份歐洲酒店，牙刷那些都是沒有的。但房間有提供吹風機，這個太棒了。 🍜早餐：早餐就是經典的歐式，無非就是各種沙拉，麵包，冷盤食物，沒太特別的。有些瑞典傳統食物，可以嘗新。 😠不足：我住的那個房間，廁所沖水是壞的，我第一天告訴了員工，第二天還沒有人給我修好！為了不在房間留下沒沖走的💩，衹能上酒店的公共廁所！

Good location, Great reception from staff when we arrived to check in. Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is very modern and quirky with a scientific authentic feel. It made the hotel unique with the feel . The room was well equipped to a very high standard. The bed was very comfortable, and the shower is a power shower. Simply amazing. The food was of exceptional quality. The service was excellent, nothing was ever too much trouble. The only criticism I could mention, is the menu is very restricted, not much choice in main meals, but on saying all that, the meals they did have , are of very high quality, and you will not be disappointed. The food is presented very well and tasted amazing. We will be back. The breakfast is plentiful with amazing amount of choice. Very high quality and plenty to eat.Thank you for an amazing stay. Totally blown away with everything about the hotel , service and the food.

The room has just been renovated for a year, the facilities are perfect, the room on the 12th floor has a good view. The hotel lobby is great in design, with a lot of space and a lot of sofas. The breakfast was particularly rich.

I really like this hotel. I always book it every time I went there and never let me down. Hotel location is very good, close to the port, after breakfast, you can take a walk at the pier, the air is very good. It takes a two-minute walk to take the ferry to the city centre. It is very convenient, and it is expensive to take a ferry. The breakfast was very rich, the Swedish breakfast, there was no hot water before, but there was hot water. Can be an extra bed, but to pay, the specific price is not clear. The parking lot is very convenient, but the cost is quite high. There are small supermarkets around the hotel, there are quite a few restaurants, and the hotel also has a restaurant that tastes good.

If you travel with car, this hotel has excellent location. Very nice sub urban area. To Lisebergs amusement park and very big shopping mall 10 minutes away. Breakfast was excellent and coffee - definitely best during visit in Sweden. Most important while traveling, we all had GOOD sleep in comortable beds. In rooms hotel is having a good selection when travelling with family. Eventhough they don't have restaurant, they had tasty variation for evening meal. Worth the money!
