Excellent newly opened hotel! Very comfortable bed and modern interior. I also enjoyed the Scandinavian style breakfast.

Great hotel! The breakfast is rich, the location is good, and the transportation is convenient.

One of the nicer hotels we’ve stayed at in Gothenburg! The breakfast buffet is endless, the rooftop bar feels like something out of Manhattan and the beds… wow, had the best night’s sleep in a long long time. Will be back!

Brand new hotel with incredible views and a number of great areas in the lobby and hang out or have a drink. The breakfast is also excellent and the staff very helpful.

Very nice and fresh hotel. Great location and cozy and new rooms with spacious bed. Breakfast area is really crowded and little space but good quality and many options. Recommend to park at aimo park at the port (Emigrantvägen) - very close and less than half the price of the one recommended by the hotel (Rosenlundsgatan).

This is a new property with a distinct design profile which is still having some teething problems. There are no pillow choices for those with back problems (yet). Keycards keep on de-magnetising which can be annoying for some. Interior design choices are of acquired taste and definitely not for guests with sight impairments as it’s mostly dark with murky tones in brown, orange and wood. Wardrobe space is entirely lacking, which is a big minus and has been replaced with space for minibar, coffee maker and safe. There is however an ironing board and iron occupying the same wardrobe space, which is a plus. Staff is very conscientious, friendly and professional. Elevators are quick and without delay. The views are great from the upper floors. A skybar/nightclub occupies the 33rd floor and music stemming from there at times and on certain party nights can be disturbing for guests staying on floors 26 to 31. As with many newer concept hotels Draken tries a little too hard to please a too broad and generic consumer group, hoping that a catch-all approach may succeed in building long terms guest loyalty, but in this case without having acquired an authentic style or memorable features. It’s a three star hotel trying to behave like a four or five star hotel. Great for a short overnight stay but not an extended stay like ours over five nights.

I enjoy my stay. Employees are friendly. The room is comfortable. Just a pity that the parking space is not in the building. Walking with suitcase in a snow condition to garage is not so convenient.

Good overall. There is no fitness center inside the hotel but you can use the fitness center right next door.

The room was lovely! It had a super comfy big bed, great shower including toiletries and a good view. The breakfast was great - plenty of choice and well presented! The location was ideal with plenty of good bars and restaurants within a 2 minute walk. We would definitely come back and stay again!
