The manor is located on the banks of the Douro River, with beautiful scenery, and every corner is a good place to enjoy the river view. The guest rooms and facilities are built according to the terrain, which is even more beautiful. Whether it is the service staff or the room, I feel comfortable. I look forward to the opportunity to visit again.

A visita correu muito bem, dentro do horário definido. Fiquei apenas triste com o facto de ser só uma hora, estava com expectativa que iríamos ver mais coisas, mesmo as próprias vinhas. No entanto cumpriu o objectivo mínimo. Sugiro tentarem fazer uma visita mais completa, às vinhas e até ver alguma actividade vinícola.

Hospedagem incrível.
Única desvantagem é que a recepção fecha às 20h, porém, mesmo com atraso, devido a acidente na estrada, nos aguardaram e deu tudo certo.

We really enjoyed the Private Premium Wine tour at La Rosa. It was amazing to walk amongst the vines and hear all the history of the area the vines and the family who own and run the estate. Our guide Patricia was extremely knowledgeable and keen to explain everything about wine making. After the tour we sampled some of the finest wines and port produced by La Rosa. It was one of of highlights of our trip to the Durro valley. We all had a meal in Clara’s kitchen. The view from the balcony is stunning and the service and food were excellent. I would highly recommend a visit.

Accommodation was comfortable with bedroom/bathroom upstairs and a nice sitting room on ground level. Highlights included the excellent restaurant (for both dinner and breakfast), and access to fantastic walks around the Douro valley (really recommend Pinhao/Casal de Loivos trek for incredible views...and wine tasting if desired). Staff were very attentive-even set us up with Champions League Football during our stay!!

Lovely view from our room, quiet (and large!). We stayed one night in March, so we weren't able to use the pool or patio but I imagine it would be close to perfect. Know that there isn't a 24-hour desk...this is not a large hotel...and plan the early checkout accordingly. A quick walk to the boat docks and little town.

Our visit to QDLR was fantastic. It was low season and relatively quiet. Comfy beds, good pillows, fabulous breakfast and we had dinner there one night and it was excellent. It was rainy and cold so we only tried the short hike but the area is beautiful and we hope to return when the weather is better.

I highly recommend visiting Quinta de la Rosa. My experience there was exceptional, highlighted by a cosy winery setting and a knowledgeable guide. The wine tasting was superb, and the entire 1.5-hour tour was so well-paced and engaging that it felt like it lasted only 10 minutes. Thank you team Quinta de la Rosa!
