Drosdy Hotel, Graaff Reinet
We only stayed overnight, but as usual everything was exellent, from the welcome to checking out. Staff all very friendly and well informed. The food was delicious, the breakfast spread was well stocked with many choices, hot and cold. When in Graaff Reinet we always stay at the Drosdy Hotel. They have added carports for parking which is a big plus when the weather is bad. I highly recommend the Drosdy Hotel

Drostdy Hotel offers a beautiful and historic setting with charming architecture and comfortable rooms. However, the dining experience was disappointing. The lamb chops were overly fatty, and the overall quality of the food was below average, which didn’t meet the standards one would expect from such an esteemed establishment. While the ambiance and service were good, the food quality needs improvement to match the rest of the hotel’s appeal.

De oase in de Karoo
Oase van rust na een lange rit. Prachtig hotel gelegen in het hart van de stad.
Mooie luxe kamers met zeer grote badkamer en met smorgens een groot uitgebreid ontbijt.
Lekker zwembad met heerlijke zitjes.
Een echte aanrader.

A wonderful stay at the Drostdy
Stopped at the Drostdy for the night on the way to Johannesburg and what a treat it was. The staff are friendly the rooms are lovely. Decor is good rooms are huge and very clean with everything you could need .
Had a lovely complimentary bottle of wine and snack platter waiting in the room which was a nice touch . Dinner at the hotel was fantastic as was the breakfast.
Next time I visit I will be sure to spend an extra day or two and enjoy the pool and spa.
