There is free parking, which is extremely cost-effective for self-driving. There is Carrefour next to it, it is more convenient to buy things, but there are not many places to eat around, mostly for fast food. The service was warm and the room was clean and tidy.

As other have said around 10 minutes walk from City Centre but close to all attractions. Rooms are excellent, spacious and have a nice bathroom. Tea and cofee provided and rooms kept spotless by cleaners. Did not use amenities on offer or eat in the restaurant so cannot comment on quality. Only one minor negative was around wifi - brilliant in reception but 'patchy” in room and would often lose connectivity. Overall first rate hotel and would return.

The quality of several restaurants in the Nevada shopping mall and shopping mall within 1 km are not bad. Carrefour, lidl supermarket is within walking distance, free parking on the side of the road, and although there are not many types of breakfast, it is left with care. The hotel is not big and the decoration is warm. Except for the small layout of the room, which is slightly simpler, the others are full marks and very cost-effective.

Very nice hotel. Excellent location, across the street from the cathedral. The hotel has its own parking lot! The service is thoughtful and enthusiastic. The biggest highlight is that there is an electric heater, and the laundry is dried. Very nice! The tickets for the Alhambra Palace were not booked, and they must be bought online more than a month in advance. Tickets are not sold on site! A little regret, come again next time! The hotel bedding is also comfortable! The breakfast is average, and the cost performance is not high.

We visited the hotel for one night in January. From the beginning of our stay we were exceedingly impressed by all the staff with whom we engaged. They could not have been more helpful or friendly. They brought in our luggage from our car and parked it for us. Checkin was a breeze and we were shown to our delightful room which was spacious and beautifully presented. We were shown around the hotel which has been cleverly constructed from a private bank preserving a number of the original bank’s features. The reception staff were enthusiastic at recommending places for us to see in Granada as well as the best dining experiences. Due to its central location we could walk to everywhere we needed to and nowhere was too far away. We have stayed in many hotels around the world but the Palacio Gran Via really stood out as one of the best.

My family stayed two nights in this hotel on a tour of Alhambra Palace. The outside common area of the hotel, including the dining room, was very well maintained and could deserve a 5-star rating. The rooms inside were a different story. We occupied two rooms. One was a “superior deluxe room,” and the other was a “classic city-view double room.” Both had the same price tag. The deluxe room was spacious and well-lit but had an odd arrangement with a useless bathtub in the center. Moreover, the room smelled of sewage when we entered the room—which I notified the management. They disagreed and claimed there was no sewage smell. I did not appreciate the response, as all four of our family members smelled of sewage. Nor did I escalate the issue, as our stay was short. The city-view room had a small window overlooking the city without much viewing space. The room was tiny, with two twin beds packed in the room, and was poorly lit. It felt like being in a prison cell. The shower doors in both rooms did not close fully, so the water splashed out. In short, both rooms were substandard and did not deserve the price tag at all. My recommendation to travelers is to stay elsewhere, and if you need to stay there, avoid the small “city-view” rooms and Deluxe Room #331 that smells of sewage. I got to love Spain and its people who are very friendly and helpful, but not this hotel.

For a four star hotel the restaurant was only 1 star which is why I marked it so low. We were only here for 2 nights which was long enough! We has dinner in the first night, what a mistake! There was a very poor choice of dishes, nothing was labelled so you had no idea what to choose. Staff were too slow to top up dishes. Breakfast was absolute chaos. Only 2 drinks machines with long queues at both. Poor selection of food that was not replenished quickly enough for volume of diners. Our room was acceptable but nothing special. The hotel is at the top of a steep hill with one or two shops a short walk away, but no bars and the drinks in the hotel are very expensive. The one thing close by is the Alhambra. There are also bus stops nearby along with the hop on, hop off train that goes around Granada. The hotel will order a taxi for you, around €5 down to the centre of Granada. The Alhambra is not to be missed and I'd recommend the train that goes around the city.

GGuest UserI originally booked a bunk in a 6 bed mixed dorm room, but the hotel was also hosting a large school group during my stay, so they upgraded me to a single private room and I am eternally grateful! The location is perfect. The hotel itself is beautiful, very modern, and clean. The front lobby always smelled so nice, and the décor is just lovely. My room was fantastic. It was quiet, the AC worked well, the bed was really comfortable, and there was a little balcony with a great view. The breakfast is a bit pricy, but well worth it. Overall, whether you are looking for a dorm room or a private room, I really liked this place and would absolutely recommend.

GGuest UserMy family and I stayed here for three nights and loved the hotel. The location was perfect and we were able to walk to all places of interest. We were even able to walk to the market. The room was clean and spacious. The kitchen, while small, had the basics needed. The pool was very very cold but with the heat it was needed. However, you couldn’t stay in there more than 5 minutes without getting cold. The parking is a bit of a pain. If you have a larger car you won’t be able to use their garage as there is a weight limit for the car to go down the lift. Other than the annoying parking situation, I couldn’t recommend this hotel any more. We will most definitely be back.

IInigoI came here several times in the past five years but I was happily surprised this time. The hotel has been entirely refurbished like three weeks ago and it looks completely new. Rooms size are correct and decoration is very modern. The best the B-Heaven bar which is located at the rooftop with the pool. Its location is awesome too, in downtown but avoiding crowds. Very recommendable!

GGuest UserI recently stayed at the Occidental Granada hotel and had a fantastic experience. First of all, the location is perfect - it's within walking distance to many of Granada's top attractions. The hotel itself is clean and well-maintained, and my room was no exception. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job of keeping the room spotless throughout my stay. One of the things I appreciated most about my stay was the quality of sleep I got. The bed and a set of pillows were very comfortable, allowing me to get a great night's rest every night. Additionally, the staff at the hotel were all friendly and helpful. Overall, I had a wonderful stay at the Occidental Granada hotel. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient, and enjoyable stay in Granada.

Other than that it's perfect! ”Friendly staff, clean rooms, and delicious breakfast.” The all-you-can-eat prosciutto ham from the morning was very Spanish-like and I was very happy.
It was convenient that the bus left in front of the hotel.
There is no coin laundry on site, but it is within walking distance.

TTIANYUANThe breakfast is rich, freshly squeezed orange juice is very good, the hotel staff is warm! We are three people, booked in Ctrip, have arranged an extra bed when arriving at the hotel, very satisfied, the room is large, the suitcase can be tiled! The hotel is very close to the high-speed exit and there is an underground car park that is very safe. We went to the city and the Alhambra for a taxi. The hotel can call the car because the road in Granada is very narrow. We are not very confident that we drive. This hotel receives tours. Consider dinner at the lobby bar or in the lobby restaurant. The service is especially good, the staff is also very good at English, and the paella is delicious!

GGuest UserSuper location in the historic center on a pedestrian street best restaurants,shopping, cathedral and walking distance to sights. Excellent tourist help from the staff with lots of advice and help offered. Everything was clean, hotel was quiet, good bed, plentiful of water. There are a lot of stairs but the staff will carry your bag for you and Reception closes at 4PM.

EEvangeliaGreat concept, good for photos. BUT our capsule no 7 was defective: the door was no locking, the key card holder was taped and so there was no good connection for electricity, and AC in the capsule was not working either. We had to sleep with the door open in order to be able to breath.
The door in the room is unlocked and everyone could enter. The patio is right next to the room, so there is a lot ot noise. People drinking until late and no one from the staff around to supervise. At around 2.30,drunk people entered in the room, a man started shouting and hitting a woman in the face, more people were involved and finally somebody called the police.
We felt super unsafe, especially without having the possibility to lock our capsule door.
Wouldn't go back.
