Place is a total scam. No pool, air conditioning, restaurant, rooms are old time shares. Room was tiny not king suite. Desk clerk was as rude as they come.

Shame on me for not reading the reviews when I noticed this property was available in the RCI timeshare system. We booked a week and left early, after 3 days. Clearly much of this resort is being rented to long term renters who do not care what they leave laying about the balconies, patios, etc. The exterior of the property is a mess. Broken, deteriorating concrete sidewalks and parking areas, weeds, uncut grass and the pond is a mess. The unit we had was clean but had worn down or damaged windows, torn carpet, loose towel racks, etc. It had a strange odor as well. Clearly they are not bringing in enough revenue to fix this place up so it might continue to spiral downward. Too bad, as it is in a good location.

Pictures on Edia. We’re not what we got when we arrived at the hotel. The room was small and smelled really bad.

No AC, very small television, only received Decaf coffee - had to ask and wait a long time at the front desk for regular coffee.

We enjoyed our stay. We had 2 adjoining rooms for our family of 5. The rooms are dated & a little on the small size. They are clean & in working order. The rooms are NOT equipped with a washer/dryer or A/C. There are a few laundry areas throughout the resort & box fans were provided. We were able to stay comfortably by leaving our windows open with the fans in front of the windows. The temperatures were in the low 90s during the day & the low 40s at night. We spent the majority of our time exploring the area. We had a short drive to Monarch Lake trails, Grand Lake kayaking. There's plenty to enjoy outdoors if you don't mind a little drive. The resort is located conveniently across the highway from a gas station, liquor store, McDonald's, Domino's and a grocery store.

NO A/C and the room is very noisy during sleeping hours due to doors slamming and the age of construction allowing you to hear everything. You won’t sleep well here. Better off sleeping in you Mr car or camping.

The Inn at Silvercreek is at the bottom of my list of RCI exchange properties I have ever stayed at. I would grade this property as follows: Location: B+ Facilities: C Maintenance: F staff: C According to Travel Weekly, the property was built in 1982 and was last renovated in 2001. Since 2001 upkeep, maintenance and renovation appears to have been neglected. It appears that after 40 years they still have significant unsold time-share inventory. Perhaps in response to the unsold time-share units the property now has three types of usage: hotel, full-time residents and time-shares. Driving into the parking lot your first impression of the property is that it appears to be an apartment complex with long term residents and there does not seem to be any rules about keeping your space neat or clean - patios and immediate lawn space are used for personal storage. When we arrived we found no available luggage carts. The route to our room took us past the Laundry room where there was lots of trash running over into the floor. Our first impressions of our room included: no soap in our bathroom, bathroom sink stopper is broken thus the sink doesn't drain (thus we had to pull the hair dryer cord away from the edge of the sink). The TV/Cable did not work. The rubber transition piece around carpet in our room is broken creating trip hazards in multiple places. The Murphy bed does not close all the away even without pillows or any other items on the bed. The only kitchen light is an over the sink light with a long cord plugged in beside the stove. There is no phone in the room for the calling front desk for maintenance issues. Our unit does not have any cooling other than a fan. I assume that is also true for the other units. The recreational aspects of the property are severly neglected. For example the property has two outdoor hotubs. One is currently empty (no water) and the other has poor aesthetics and no water flow. There is Algae and mold growth on the concrete. The pool water is cloudy with algae growth. There is no handrail at steep stairs to enter pool. The pool is supposed to be heated but the pool water is freezing. The tile floor entering and exiting locker area is very wet with minimal scattered rubber mats for safety.

I wish the check out time was later than 10am. It's unfortunate to check out earlier compared to other properties.. Also the room I was in had netting over the back patio. The other rooms on either side of me didn't have netting which kind of ruined the experience for taking pictures of the mountains from the back patio. However the amenities were nice including Pool, laundry, arcade, dry sauna and multiple hot tubs.

I had a nice warm and comfortable stay. I used the hot tubs, pool and sauna. My room was well appointed and the kitchen was quite nice. The beds were comfortable and I slept very well. I would recommend staying at the Inn at SilverCreek.
