Grand Cayman Marriott Resort

There is NO beach. The pool area is way too small for the size of the hotel. The extra blanket for our room had a HUGE hole ripped in it. Staff was great, but definitely NOT worth the $700/night we paid.

Jevoun at the front desk made my stay pleasant and he is very nice and amazing. He gave me exactly what I wanted. He gave me the room i wanted and everything was just the way i wanted it. He also made sure to accommodate for my fear of heights so we got a room on the lowest level possible!

Love the updated lobby area, restaurant choices and the staff both inside and outside around the pool area. However, the pool area is a complete circus with not enough room as a result of beach erosion and the loss of it. People are squeezed in like beans in a can making it impossible to read or relax. Will not be coming back to the Marriott.

We enjoyed our stay here- the pool deck and chairs are comfortable with plenty of umbrellas. The staff is highly attentive and friendly! The resort fee included the kayaks, snorkel equipment and activities too which was really nice. We did not mind the beach erosion too terribly- but understandably it is disappointing to many guests.

The pool is small and has no music it's boring. No beach. The building is old. We are renovating many rooms. In-room. No espresso capsule machine. Drip coffee machine. It's old school. Also gave us one decaffeinated one caffeine. Didn't understand. There are 2 people in the room.

We love this hotel... we have been back many times and the service is always top notch nothing to complain about aside that they have lost that beautiful beach we really enjoyed the first couple of times and now the last two times no beach. That being said we are coming back this November because everything else about the Island and hotel is perfect!

I stayed in 2 rooms with my wife and 4 children from June 7 to 11, 2024. The GM, Mr. Hermes Cuello, and his staff went above and beyond to make our trip a memorable one. Mr. Cuello definitely cared that we were having a nice time, and he and his team really stepped up to ensure that we had a nice vacation at Grand Cayman Marriott (even though we didn't have perfect weather for our vacation). The breakfast buffet at the hotel each day is fantastic and not to be missed. Tons of delicious options on the daily breakfast buffet, including amazing omelettes and delicious smoked salmon. The Anchor & Den restaurant is delicious for dinner. We had incredible sushi rolls and sashimi at Anchor & Den which were amazing. The grilled fish, seafood paella and steaks were also fabulous at Anchor & Den. Desserts are huge, delicious and perfect to share. Definitely do not miss the sushi rolls and sashimi at Anchor & Den...my family is still talking about how good the sushi rolls were. The wait staff is also very friendly and engaging with great personalities. We also want to give a shoutout to Osiris, who cleaned our rooms each day and she was the friendliest cleaning person that we have ever had at a hotel and she did a beautiful job cleaning our rooms each day. Be sure to request Osiris to clean your rooms and she does a great job cleaning and is super friendly. Thanks to Mr. Hermes Cuello and his staff at the Grand Cayman Marriott for stepping up to make our trip memorable. We didn't have great weather while we were in the Caymans, but Mr. Cuello and his staff went above and beyond such that we had a very nice family vacation to celebrate my son's graduation from college even though we had some rain while in Caymans. Also a nice touch that Grand Cayman Marriott does not charge for parking....we found it a definite benefit to have a rental car and nice to not have to pay for parking while staying at Grand Cayman Marriott.

I had issues with the room phone not working and had to go down to reception twice to follow up on a room order plus my bathroom door locked. But staff were all very lovely

Grand Cayman resort that is mostly recently renovated. Room was good, food was fine, service was pretty good.
