The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman

We arrived and it was down hill from the start. I used to love grand cayman but after this trip I will NEVER stay here again. I paid 5 figures for 4 nights of horrible room service, burnt food, the bed broke while we were changing our daughter and the pole on top swings down like a pendulum, Only to find out it was missing the screws that it was supposed to have. When going to the beach be ready to wait for someone to help you. I ended up getting our own towels and setting up our own chairs. We tried St.June, it was ok but overpriced for the quality. While some staff were amenable and kind but most seemed entitled like you owed them something. I’ve been all over the world and have never left such a review as this. Everything is a upcharge, very disappointed in the property.

Fantastic as Always but with even better service though are belated 31 anniversary consisted of more rain than sun It really did matter first a special thanks to Richards, Nickola and his team for a great in room detail for us for are 31 Ann , second special thanks to my new good friend Danny at the pool side bar absolutely amazing bartender along with all bartenders they were top notch making sure everyone was attended to Ritz Carlton expected service , even though there was a set of couples that were quit rude because he spoke to me and my wife in Spanish and English to one point almost causing me to almost losing my cool which would I'm sure would have caused a much bigger problem for us even though they were to problem . truly the best resort in Grand Cayman for anything and every thing 20 stars for entire staff at this Ritz Carlton an example to all Ritz

I think Ritz is amazing. We love the Ritz,we went there and I appreciate the Ritz just to see it’s part of over island, I have been a officer for 45 years and I knew her from a little girl,she is amazing, we found Christina to be an amazing person and we love her very much, we are sure that you will love her as much as we do. welcome tomorrow beautiful Cayman Islands.

I would have given this property 5 stars but was extremely disappointed to find out that the Club level did not include a reserved area on the beach. Had to get up early in the morning just to get decent seats on the beach. If you go to this hotel, do NOT pay for club level as you will not be happy. I would also like to point out that the club room will not be close to your hotel room. Had I known about these things, I would have NEVER paid for club level. The hotel staff are extremely helpful and kind and take pride in their jobs. It is a beautiful property in a great location.

From beginning to end, the service was impeccable. The staff (Joshua, Calita, Kayla, Crisena, Tati, Justin) went out of their way to made our anniversary and wife’s birthday week very special. The staff are some of the nicest people we have ever met and can’t wait to return.

The staff was exceptional!!! Everyone was kind and sincere and went out of their way to be helpful. We’ve been to several Ritz around the world and this was the most memorable experience. They are all great which is why we keep coming back but this was over the top. Thank to the management, front desk Helena, concierge Nickola and Angel, cabana service Mladin and Patricia, and all of the staff at Seven especially Sansa, Ryan, and the hostess (I’m so sorry her name eludes me). We are returning with our 3 boys to allow them to experience the same. Thank you them all for making it a great trip.

Every time my family and I come to Cayman Islands we book a tea time at ritz-carlton (intentionally not capitalizing their name as I have no respect for them anymore). We did this time as well, only to find out today that they cancelled our booking. My wife made a booking by phone and they didn't tell her to expect an email or a phone call. Now they have invented all sorts of reasons to justify cancelation- except admitting that they never told my wife to watch for an email. With three kids on vacation she does not have time to check it. We also paid for a cab to kiss the door, apparently. Too bad a family tradition is no longer. We will not be coming or staying here any longer. Perhaps hiring staff that is professional helps.

I just got back from a vacation at the Ritz in Grand Cayman and it was beyond my expectations!! The service is exceptional. The staff is very friendly and everyone always had a smile on their face! They really go above and beyond. The rooms are very clean and spacious. The bed was very comfortable. The beach is surreal! There was absolutely no seaweed. My family and I had the best time and we will definitely be returning!

Walking from Casanova’s back to another hotel at 9:00pm, my husband and I were looking behind us frequently to look for a bus. A car pulled over and asked if we needed a bus and offered to take us to where we needed to go. We initially declined, not wanting to put him out of his way, but he said it was on his way and to not worry about it. We got in and had a delightful conversation all the way. We offered to pay him, but he would have nothing of it. The kind citizen was Florin from the Ritz Carlton. I walked along the beach to the hotel the next morning to let a manager know the caliber of employees he has and I spoke with Oleksander, who was just delightful. We chatted while walking through this breathtakingly beautiful hotel (the art gallery in the hallway alone is magnificent!) and I left wishing I was staying there. I look forward to seeing my two new friends again on my next visit in May 2025!
