Hotels near DTLR, Grand Prairie

Loved being near AT&T Stadium. The hotel is close to Texas Live with several dining and nightlife options available nearby. Free parking at the hotel is included with plenty of spots. Nice restaurant and bar onsite. Will stay here again.

Great location to Six-Flags over Texas, the Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers ball fields. I had a corner room on the 3rd floor. A marvelous location in a guest friendly Hotel. The atrium is breathtaking. Road construction can be a hassle if you let it. I navigated it with little to no problems during my 2 week stay. Staff met my every need. I had breakfast one time in the restaurant, the server was awesome the food was mediocre. They do have a breakfast buffet on the weekends which is idea on home game weekends. If you stay during a cowboys home game, you will notice. I had to ask security to quiet the room next-door at 1:30 AM, they did and the noise went away within 20 minutes, thank you. House keepers work their tales off. My room was always serviced with towels & washcloths with my trash emptied and bed made. My key card was disabled frequently because I am to silly to keep it away from my cell phone, but, they always rekeyed it with a smile. The parking is plentiful and the area is safe. Arrived late to the wrong hotel. Caroline made the call to the other Laquinta we were reserved at. Thankfully they did not charge us and she took care of everything. Nice Hotel!!

I am a 2+ decade IHG member, so I have stayed at more hotels than I can count over 26 years of traveling. With that said, this was without a doubt the worst stay at a Holiday Inn Express (Duncanville, TX) I have ever had!! Let’s start with the property. There was trash, beer/beverage cans, and cigarette butts scattered around the poorly maintained landscape. Lots of ****s, terrible parking lot, clearly no grounds keeper. The floors in the dining area are sticky from who knows what. The breakfast choices for a non-meat, plant-based eater was stark at best. The pancake machine was inoperative, so ended up eating off property each day, not very convenient. The room was ok, not great, but ok. Needed to buy a room freshener from the dollar store once the “new room smell” spray wore off…..lol. Shower grout in the corner had some sort of science experiment going on, not sure, but nasty. When I checked in, I wanted a room near the back of the property to mitigate the freeway noise out front. That was working ok until a commercial big rig truck parked in the parking lot right outside my window and ran a generator for two nights straight!! Yeah, no sleep with that nonsense going on. I notified the front desk, once by phone, once in person and left a phone message with the manager….NOTHING done to correct this at all, very disappointing!! They did offer to move me to a different room, closer to the freeway noise I was trying to avoid in the first place. They just couldn’t figure it out. I guess if I was playing my radio too loud, they would move guest to other rooms rather than ask me to turn down the music, go figure. Makes no sense to me!! I picked this place for a four night working stay because the reviews were good and it was close to where I needed to be. Don’t be fooled by the review photos, this place is not that at all. I ended up leaving a day early and found a different competitor to give my money to. I am surprised at IHG oversight of this property, they are usually very good places to stay, but not so here. There was also construction going on in sections of the property that was never mentioned. Find a better IHG property for your stay!! The manager will respond to this review with the usual “sorry you were disappointed in your stay, we will work to correct this and”…….yada, yada, yada. But this is a long-term property and customer service decline that doesn’t happen in a short period of time and usually gets worse before it gets better. Shop wisely my fellow travelers.

Good scenery, friendly staff, convenient accessibility, quiet scenery with music, great breakfast, etc., it was the best place to relax.

the hotel provided free airport shuttle service, which is good for me, and they picked me up in ＜20 mins after i called them. room is clean, although the facilities are old.

For the partner to book, it should be possible, this month he has to go over, saying that I will help him book this hotel. So I personally feel good 👌👌👌

A hotel for temporary transit before catching an early flight. The hotel is very clean. I chose a room with a view of the airport on the 11th floor. The night view and sunrise are beautiful~~ and you can open the door to the small balcony👍 However, friends who like quietness should not choose this room, because even if you close the door, you can still hear the sound of the plane taking off🛫 and landing. The hotel does not have slippers, toothpaste, toothbrushes and other items. Friends who book here should be prepared~~ Simple meals, coffee, fruit cups and other things can be bought on the first floor of the hotel. Basically, the needs of a temporary night can be fully met. There is a free shuttle bus to the airport every 20 minutes at the entrance of the hotel 24 hours a day🚌 It is very convenient. Just stand in front of the sign of the terminal you want to go to and wait. We went to Terminal E, D and E are the same sign. After getting on the bus, the driver will also confirm which terminal you want to get off~

My family was in the area to visit schools. They were very impressed with the construction of the hotel and lay out of the rooms, even the parking lot was nice. Everything was beautiful and very clean. The breakfast buffet was very good too! The location was great! We would certainly stay here again.
