Wir hatten dieses Hotel wegen der „Vogelnest“–Zimmer und wegen der Elchsafari ausgesucht. Beides hat unsere Erwartungen voll erfüllt ! Das Hotel, schön zwischen Fluss und einem kleinen See gelegen, besteht aus einem flachen Gebäude mit Terrasse, Rezeption und Restaurant. Auf der einen Seite liegen dann auf einem kleinen Hügel die Vogelnester, auf der anderen Seite der Campingplatz. Die Speisekarte im gemütlichen Restaurant ist klein, aber das Essen ist ausgezeichnet. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, die Zimmer hell, mit einem schönen Blick und bequemen Betten. Höhepunkt war die Elchsafari. Unsere Führerin (Anne ?) besaß einen Enthusiasmus, der einfach ansteckend war und ihr großes Wissen machte ihre Erzählungen hochinteressant. Biberpfade, Tierknochen, riesige Ameisenberge und ein Lagerfeuer an einem stillen See mit fantastischem Abendlicht. Es spielte fast keine Rolle mehr, dass wir tatsächlich auch eine Elchkuh gesehen haben. Es war einer der Höhepunkte unseres Schwedenurlaubs ! Nur den inzwischen doch in die Jahre gekommenen VW-Bus könnte das Hotel mal mit einem neuen Fahrzeug ersetzen ;-)

We kwamen na een lange reisdag aan bij Granö Beckasin. Het inchecken ging heel gemakkelijk en snel. De mensen die ons hielpen waren vriendelijk. Op het gezellige terras bij het hoofdgebouw dronken we een lekker groot glas bier. De houten cottage lag mooi tussen de bomen met zicht op het water en we hadden veel ruimte voor ons zelf. Hoewel er nauwelijks muggen waren, was het wel fijn dat we een hor konden plaatsen voor het grote raam en we daardoor met open raam konden slapen. Het ontbijt de volgende morgen was erg goed en lekker. Het uitchecken ging ook soepel. Wij vonden het een superlocatie!

Heerlijke plek om op adem te komen in noordelijk Zweden. Mooie locatie aan de rand van uitgestrekte bossen om hier in te kunnen wandelen. Dorp met supermarkt, bakker en op de locatie een goed restaurant. Drie dagen met steeds een wisselend menu. Genoten van de vegan optie. Aanrader!

We regularly visit this place at least once every summer! Love the place for its tranquility! Highly recommend for nature lovers, hiking, camping, canoeing, group activities etc. It is only forty to fifty minutes drive from Umeå! They are polite and welcoming

I spent a wonderful experience in one of thé bungalows. It was perfect. The staff is very kind, generous and suitable. The dogsledding activity is an amazing discovery. There are a lot of places to walk and hike, even in winter. I will come back again.

Excellent location!! We love it and we are coming back soon. Everything is very beautiful and fancy! The nature is amazing and the dogsledding tour was our favorite. The food in Granö Beckasin was so yummy!!! We love all the fantastic things we could do in the region (Snow mobile tour, dogsledding, hiking with snowshoes, we saw the northern lights)!!! We will come back Sophia

Bellissima casetta sull'albero, tranquilla e con una stupenda vista sul lago. Ottimo il ristorante ed eccellente la colazione servita direttamente in camera. Peccato essere stati solo di passaggio, ci sarebbero state tante escursioni e passeggiate da fare nei dintorni e nella foresta. Ci tornerei volentieri.

Very scenic view from our birds' nest. I love the hospitality and love the idea of a breakfast basket. You get your breakfast delivered to your room at 09.00 in the morning. So you can have a late morning in the cozy birds nest.

A perfect stay at a lovely ecofriendly hotel. Well worth every penny! We came from Umeå to stay here for a day. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. The food was very good and the sauna lovely. A bit cold in the river as the ice hade gone just a month ago, but I still went for a swim.
