When we arrived at the hotel our booking resulted cancelled, but luckily the issue was fixed and we got a room.
The room is quiet, bed comfortable, but the bathroom would require some refurbishment and styling.

Enjoyed my stay. Was disappointed that even with an elevator you still need to negotiate some stairs with luggage. The beds were a little uncomfortable. It is a beautiful location and the food was absolutely fabulous probably the best I had in Scotland. I would recommend this hotel just be conscious that you will still have some stairs to negotiate with luggage.

En un precioso edificio se pueden encontrar las más deplorables habitaciones de toda la ruta de las Hight Landers escocesas No es, de ninguna de las maneras, un 3 estrellas. La cena incluida en el programa, escasa y de calidad pésima, dando panga como opción de pescado y rollito primavera picante de entrada. No lo recomiendo más que para hacer fotos a su preciosa fachada. Cisterna no funciona, los suelos de madera cedidos, desconchones en paredes y techos, ventanas mugrientas, etc.

It is a charming old hotel with lots of character. Unfortunately, the maintenance staff must not be able to look up as paint is peeling off ceiling and bathroom light fixtures are missing cover. People complain of the creaking floors, but that is part of an old building. Had a beautiful view out front. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
If you expect 5 star accommodations, you should expect to pay WAY more.
As long as you take that into consideration, excellent value. Would recommend and would stay again.

Room was in dis repair wallpaper peeling damp on the walls, nothing was clean marks on pillows dust on all surfaces.went for a meal waiting 20mins to be served food was very good but services was cold and blunt. Back at the room there was a loud industrial humming noise in room well past 9 when asked the receptionist I was told it's ok it will go off by half past, seemed as they didn't care at all.
