Hilton Garden Inn Kent Island

Well, this hotel is just the best. It’s reasonably priced. Got a room for $137. It’s right on the water and most of this not all rooms have balconies. Tim at the front desk is so kind and patient. He upgraded us to a beautiful suite. Everything is spotless. The shopping outlets are right around the corner, where everything is 50% off at least. Great crab restaurants and bars within walking distance. I’ve been all over the world, but this is surely one of my favorite places to stay. Love it!

Hotel I had a wonderful stay bay front view was awesome. Hotel staff was very polite and professional. Very convenient location next to the Jetty one if my favorite spots with outside seating. Will stay again and would definitely recommend to everyone.

Tim the front desk agent was so kind and customer service was top tier. The location was nice. Now for the somewhat cons. Our first assigned room wasn't ready, which want's a big deal because Tim was able to put up in another room without skipping a beat. The new room's bathroom wasn't clean the toilet tank cover was hanging off and the bathroom sink had hair in it like someone had just finished grooming in there. The Jetty restaurant across the lot had pretty loud music playing. They did stop at a reasonable time but was still a little taken back by how loud the music was even with the windows and door closed. And the third issue, the breakfast that was included. If anyone reads this before booking. PLEASE SKIP THE BREAKFAST OPTION!!! It is a waste of money. We ended up driving to Cracker Barrel. The "Buffett" included only had coffee tea and few and when I say few I mean 3/4 pieces of fruit along with eggs, sausage and grits. THAT"S IT!!!! And there was only a few pieces of those items. All in all, will I stay there again, probably. If that was my last choice. The room rates on the weekend are RIDICULOUS!!!!

We were unable to get to the property because of a 2-3 hour backup on route 50 trying to get over the bridge to the hotel in Kent Narrows due to an accident and flooding. After an 6 hour drive from North Carolina to get within 30 miles of the Hilton Garden Inn Kent Island - we just could not wait for traffic to clear. We called the hotel but they told me that they were unwilling to cancel our room or refund our reservation even though we could not get there. Told me room good until noon Monday. Good luck getting here. Please advise. Thsnjs

Pretty standard Hilton Garden Inn but with an excellent waterfront location within immediate walking distance of several good seafood places. The breakfast is overpriced for what you get and try to get a room that is positioned more towards the water than the parking lot and "The Jetty" which can get rowdy at night. Regardless, I would recommend it if in the area though and would stay here again.
