We stayed a couple of nights whilst visiting relatives in Gravesend. Expecting a soul-less just-off-the-motorway establishment, e were pleasantly surprised. Admittedly, occupancy was low but the friendly welcome set the scene for the weekend. The phone signal was poor but our room towards the rear of the hotel was clean and spacious, WiFi excellent and bed comfy. No restaurant as such, but they did serve a decent-looking dinner. Highlight was the service provided by Shell. Not only did she check us in, but also showed us different rooms from which we could choose (we had pre-booked), offered to carry our luggage and cooked our breakfasts fresh in the morning. Chain hotel amenities but an informal guest house vibe.

Stayed here for wedding near by, supersized bed all to myself and super comfy. Staff were friendly and so polite and breakfast pipping hot and yummy. If ever I’m in the area again I would stay here. Very clean hotel and well maintained only downside is the outside is a bit unwelcoming but I think that’s because there is work going on. A********

Cannot say enough how lovely our stay here was. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate all our needs. Shell and Eileen were brilliant, they work so hard and deserve praise for how they run their hotel. It is clean, big spacious rooms, a well decorated venue, lovely big, soft towels, a quiet hotel, nice food and has good parking. Highly recommend staying here.

Loved this place. All of the staff was very friendly! I would definitely stay there again! The only thing I wish they had was air conditioning and maybe a little more affordable breakfast.

If you're expecting a proper hotel, with a restaurant, and decent facilities, try somewhere else. The Manor Hotel is nothing more than an expensive Travelodge these days. Such a shame, when it used to be a lovely place, and used to be my first choice.

Had a lovely stay here for a wedding reception nearby. The staff were friendly and helpful. Especially Shel. I found all my questions were answered and everyone was more than helpful and responded to requests for help. My stay couldn’t have been made any better other than if there was a welcome drink (lol)
