This was our first time staying at Wind In The Pines. We enjoyed ourselves very much here. Bob, the owner is there with a friendly smile and any help you might need. We required a downstairs unit as I am partially handicapped and don't do steps very ell. Bob was very accommodating and we enjoyed a very nice 2 bedroom unit with an exceptional back screened porch. Will the units are a bit dated, they ere clean and well maintained. The location was great right outside Great Barrington, close to Stcobridge and many of the things the Berkshires are famous for. There is a very small kitchen with only a small fridge and microwave, no cooking things at all, but we managed very nicely. Plus, if you are a Red Sox fan you will be Bob's friend for life. We would definitely stay here again.

Very nice, very clean unit. The staff are extremely nice and helpful. One thing that could be improved is the mattress on the queen bed, it's not very comfortable, nor were the pillows.

This place is a hidden gem! Our place was spotless with comfortable furniture and beds. All linens and towels were included with plenty for our stay. Small kitchen area was well stocked with all essentials. The kitchen table was large and perfect for our needs. Plenty of lighting. 2 bathrooms, one with shower and one with tub/Jacuzzi. Can't wait to go back! PS. Bob, the manager is great and very knowledgeable about the area and events.

Bed, furniture, lighting, appliances old and inadequate. Pool is teensy, and hard to access. Just very run down. Manage/Owner is very nice, but can't make up for the discomfort. Location is good, because it is right on Rte 7, but set back from the road.

Going back in Time is a good title for this resort. It felt like I was back in the 60s and 70s with the quaint furniture and single window a/c unit in the window. Though the unit was clean it needed more updates and more light.

This was a base for us to explore this beautiful area with relatives. It seems more like a motel than a resort. The primary bedroom was fine, the second bedroom and bathroom were small and cramped. It was good that the kitchen was a separate room so that we were not bothered by refrigerator noise in the night, as happens with studio units. The couch was old and needed cleaning or updating. No smart TV. Good view from back patio. ********* smoke smell from nextdoor patio. 6 ******** stores in local high street in very small town!

This is a wonderful place to stay. The room was spotless and very well stocked. There were plenty of towels, plates, glasses, everything. We especially loved having a mini kitchen. It was perfect for morning coffee and breakfast before heading out for the day. At night we were able to relax in our own private patio with a glass of wine. Bob, the host was wonderful to work with and suggested lots of great places to see and dine at. He was able to accommodate my husband's request for a first floor room due to my husband having knee surgery in a few weeks and is having difficulty climbing stairs. This is a gem in the Berkshires and I can't wait for us to go back!

Wind in the Pines provided comfortable, economical, and convenient accommodations for our family stay in the Berkshires. Great Barrington is just a very short drive as are many outdoor activities. What makes Wind in the Pines stand out is the great service we received from Bob and his staff. I left something in our room after check-out and Bob went out of his way to make sure that it was returned to me. Exceptional service above and beyond the norm.

A very dated unit lacking the most basic comfort !! No way to boil water or an egg except on the old microwave, non functioning showers, no faucets so impossible to fill the bath, ugly and dated furniture, bad smell in the unit. Bad location far from town etc.
