I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Imperial Hotel and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable.
The service throughout our stay was exceptional. The staff was attentive, friendly, and always ready to assist with any requests or questions we had. They truly made us feel like valued guests and their genuine hospitality was greatly appreciated.
Another great aspect of the Imperial Hotel is its convenient location. Being within walking distance of the beach is a huge plus for those who enjoy spending time by the ocean. It's wonderful to have the opportunity to easily access the beach and enjoy the beautiful surroundings without having to travel far. The proximity to the beach adds an extra level of relaxation and enjoyment to the overall experience at the hotel.
Overall, my family and I had a fantastic experience . The combination of a delicious breakfast, excellent service, and clean accommodations made our stay truly memorable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a top-notch experience.

Second year running we have spent the August bank holiday weekend as a family in Great Yarmouth and stayed at this hotel. We booked the three best room and I have to say they are very comfortable with king size beds and a jacuzzi bath. It’s on the north side just out of the town centre which suits us, you can walk down or jump on a bus. It was nice to recognise some of the staff from last year and good to see more staff than last year. We also eat at the hotel a couple nights and it was good pub grub type food lots of choice.

Amazing, modern and well thought out accommodation. No negatives. Everything you could wish for. The suites are decorated to high end and very chic and modern. Value for money and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend The Rampart to family and friends. The hosts are so helpful and any queries are answered straightaway. I particularly liked The You Tube videos on appliances. Fantastic idea as Stephen and Jenna take you through how to set the heating and operate the hot tap for drinks. Feel as though I’ve had a break away and we can’t wait to return again. Thank you for having us. Gail & Mark

GGuest UserI’m so glad I only had to stay two nights in this hotel. As soon as I lay down on the bed I realised I was allergic to the fabric detergent I told Linda, who runs the establishment with her Husband Larry, but she didn’t even offer to change the sheets and I am now covered from head to toe in allergies spots which are very itchy. I’m very painful. Also, I realised, unfortunately after my stay, that I had been put in a single room but I had paid for a double room. I raised this with the hotel and they wrote back to me lying saying that I have booked a single room. I wonder what part of “ Standard double room“ means single bed to them at this hotel. I wonder where a second person is supposed to sleep in a single bed if I had had a second person with me. Also appreciate I didn’t raise this at the time because I didn’t realise until afterwards I don’t like them implying that I am a liar which is effectively what they’ve done by saying that I booked a standard single room which is not what it says on my booking confirmation. I am not a liar. They are not particularly friendly hosts. Yes, they can be helpful, but there’s no smile on their faces. There’s no happiness in the place and everything seems to be too much trouble for them. I would not recommend staying at this hotel. I should have realised the sort of standard they were going to be when they were not as expensive as the other hotels in the vicinity. Thankfully I was only there for two nights but what a complete waste of money. Oh yes I almost forgot. They allow their various dogs to run around the breakfast room begging the people staying there for food. Disgusting and unhygienic. Also there was mold in the shower. The photo shows the allergic reaction on my arms.
My husband and I made a booking for Sunday dinner in the restaurant. The dinner itself was excellent, really nice veg and the meat was tender and tasty. I am gluten intolerant and Emma, who served us, was so helpful. She was knowledgeable about the ingredients and she recommended a gf dessert that was not on the menu which I enjoyed very much. Emma ensured I was able to enjoy my meal and not miss out as is often the case. Thanks Emma for a lovely afternoon.
GGuest UserEach room is equipped with microwave, fridge and a kettle. The location is very good. It is very near the beach, local amusements and the town centre.
GGuest UserTo be honest, it’s a good value for money hotel it’s not the best but the Price is honest only problem I encounter is heating not working. Windows are single glazed so imagine the wind coming through your room from the sea was my second stay here. Breakfast is good but you can see the lack of investment throughout
One two problems internet. Not good at all plus no breakfast as advertised on plus side very nice room We visit embassy often the star of hotel is David very helpful kind and hardworking well done David for all your hard work keeping everyone happy hotel dated I know but atmosphere is relaxing

ok we know where it is and not the best area in run down seaside town ? much like most of them in the UK (mainly due to influx of east europeans, looking for affordable accomodation, not a slur on Nationality),this hotel has probably seen better days..BUT the room was spotless (very HOT due to main Sash window in bedroom not able to be opened..so we opened shower room window !!) could not work out shower, so we had a refreshing cool one lol. Garden/Courtyard seemed very busy and noisy at 3.30 in the morning ? but hey we,ve all been their if not get a life. Would we come back..certainly..close to all amenities but AVOID ..Harry Ramsdens Fish and chips..10 minutes down rd TOBY..excellent value All you can eat food..Cheers
First to come up on filter when selected price low-high. So I knew it was a budget price Hotel. Impressions? my son who is 9 loved it. It was bigger than last place we had in Yarmouth and more room. and we had fun. It's right bang where you wana be with everything around you.. a couple of car parks round corner I paid £20 for 2 days. Was a little warm but its summer so would advise taking a fan and job done. Couldn't get reception on tele but we don't watch TV anyway other than that was clean and tidy and did the job at a really good price.
