With stunning unobstructed views of the ocean and the place to watch the sunset around Hermanus, 138 Marine Beachfront Guesthouse is the best spot for a quiet and cozy getaway in the region. The house is gorgeous and they take care of every detail. Breakfast was outstanding and the team managing the property is super friendly.

Amazing place with a stunning view on the oceanfront. Royal service. Breakfast is an experience, high reccomended. Nice walk to do at sunset or in the morning. Room very comfortable and the managers let you feel like you’re in family. Thank you

Splendid location with woderrful sea and mountain views; woderful hosts; the breakfeasts are truly delicious. Fanatstic value for money. Loaction on the overstrand is central to all the attractions, including the Hemel en Arde wine route.

We thoroughly enjoyed our three nights at 138 Marine Beachfront Guesthouse and would highly recommend. Being on the beach, we couldn't fault the location - the views are amazing, listening to the waves was such a treat and the house itself is perfect. So comfortable and welcoming - the staff were above and beyond phenomenal and the rooms were private and spacious. The breakfasts were fabulous and I would love to revisit and will definitely be telling any visitors going to Hermanus about 138 Marine Beachfront Guesthouse.

A beautiful, serene place to relax and let your soul dangle with a wonderful beach view. The breakfast was delicious. Desré completed our stay with friendly effort and good tips for activities. As a small point of criticism we have to add that the bathroom was clearly not in it’s best condition anymore and the bedroom was so tiny, we barely fit our two suitcases.

Sehr gepflegtes Haus mit toller Betreuung durch das gesamte Team vor Ort. Schöne Zimmer, es ist alles vorhanden was man für einen entspannten Aufenthalt braucht und im Wohnzimmer steht ein Fläschchen Sherry zur freien Verfügung :-). Tolle Lage zum Meer und morgens ein super Frühstück individuell zubereitet. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können es sehr empfehlen. Markus und Familie

Excellent hosts! Excellent room! Excellent service! Excellent support! The view over the ocean was superb! There was electricity and hot water surrounded by comfortable furniture and pleasant decor. The common area was a novel experience! Breakfast was top class!

Awesome romantic stay, the view is amazing on the ocean, breakfast was very good and the staff super helpful and kind. We loved our stay and it was a perfect place for our honeymoon in Hermanus! Everything was just beautiful in this cozy and romantic place.

Wir durften einige wunderschöne Tage mit Freunden dort erleben. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und sehr heimelig. Die Badezimmer top. Auch das Essen ist home cooked und sehr fein und frisch. Die Tische liebevoll gedeckt und die Bedienung sehr freundlich. Die Owners erlebten wir liebevoll und kompetent. Danke Desré und Team! We’re coming back, definitely
