Days Inn by Wyndham Whitmore Lake

I enjoyed myself

Very friendly staff, easy check in, and clean rooms/parking lot. It is a motel with exterior doors, but it felt safe and the room was lovely. Plenty of TV stations. Coffee and OJ/apple juice in the morning (not a full breakfast).

It was very conveniently looked.

The room was very cozy and convenient- TV worked as did all of the other appliances like the mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The door that opened right up to the parking lot for the bottom floor rooms was super nice too! The only negative I noticed was how dirty the floor was after a towel was put down to step on when getting out of the shower- looked like it hadn't been washed in a LONG time. Otherwise, no complaints!

The 6 day stay at Day Inn was good enough although the pillows could have been of better quality. The breakfast options should have had more variety.

Restaurant next door was great. Unfortunately pool heater was broken though. And closed.

The controller for the tv was broken; sheet had green marker on it, tv stand was missing some edging, toilet was rusty and kept running all night. Was in room 219 and got woken up by the people in the room next to me being very loudly intimate

I knew this was a cheap hotel, but the location was perfect and the kids really wanted to stay at a hotel with a pool. After check in, we learned that the indoor pool was only open seasonally. So already the main reason for our stay was moot. The room itself was dirty, and the most basic amenities like lamps, toilet, and the TV only partially worked. Well at least the kids had breakfast to look forward to. They always like that at hotels. Turns out that “breakfast” was orange juice, coffee, and granola bars. That was it. Lesson learned.
