Great food and atmosphere

I'm usually happy with the Hilton brand which is why I'm a Diamond member. However, this time I was very disappointed. I usually check recent reviews and I thought this would be a decent hotel. However this is what I experienced: Bad: Old/used Gatorade bottles in the couch and on the floor. Found hairs in the shower as I opened up the shower curtain. The shower didn't look as if it was cleaned. No box of tissues. There was only 1 set of towels in the room. The toilet was discolored but appeared clean (although I sanitized it with our wet wipes that we brought as well as all the door handles and the sink just to make sure). The coffee in the lobby was horrible. Another customer was also there and had the same opinion about the coffee. Also, I asked for a diamond upgrade on check in and it was not granted (he said because he had already assigned a room in the category that we reserved even though we had not checked in yet). If that was the worst of it, I would have been ok with that...but an unclean room is unacceptable!! We just checked in so I'm not sure if that is all yet. We let the manager know about the Gatorade bottles but we didn’t know about the other stuff until after he had left. We were too tired from our long drive to have the energy to complain and change rooms. Good: The sheets appeared clean (we hope). The manager gave us another 2 sets of towels. There was an extra roll of toilet paper. The refrigerator was fairly large and cold and there was a microwave in the room. Close proximity to the freeway, Walmart and fast food places/restaurants.

We came in later in the day from traveling. Our suite was amazing with a couch, coffee table, desk, big tv and king sized bed. The parking worked perfect with ample space for our 1 ton pickup truck. Also they had space for larger vehicles. You just have to come in and leave at the entrance. The exit is too steep and for sure we would have scraped the bottom of our truck. Walmart is close and Grenada Lake is 10 minutes away.

This hotel is typical Hampton with its cleanliness and great comfort, but what makes it outstanding was the hospitality of both the night and morning front-desk staff members. Jimmy was especially helpful on the morning of our departure. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

Nice place, good rooms,decent pricing, and great breakfast. Highly recommend. The staff were helpful, but not overly present, which is nice. Halls were quiet and clean. Parking area was well lit and safe feeling.

Check in was quick and easy. Our room was nicely sized and very clean. Overall the hotel is in great condition and well-maintained. The beds were wonderful and we both had a great night's sleep. Breakfast was good and got us ready to hit the road. We will stay here again.

We were in town to visit family we hadn't seen in a while. The beds were very comfy the room was nice and cool. Extreme heat advisory in effect so that was a plus! Sheets were high quality . They were soft and fresh . I would only stay at this hotel next time I'm in town.

Friendly staff

Great hotel with a fully stocked and clean breakfast area. Friendly service too. I will definitely stay there again the next time I’m in the area. There are many places to eat that are very close to the hotel. There are even light posts in the parking lot to charge your boat.
